Sabbath is not "saturday". Sabbath is the 7th day of the week according to scripture and is Holy and blessed, and it is from evening to evening, while "saturday" is pagan and from midnight to midnight....You are compelled to convince others to worship on Saturday...
Consider the history:What Christian church still kept the Saturday sabbath after 200AD?
Both catholicism and 'orthodoxy' (simply western and eastern apostasy) fell away long before 1054.I believe the great falling away was perhaps the Roman church in 1054.
Backwards again, and not what LoveGod'sWord said....Therefore, it is a contradiction to also state that a sabbath, law, or anything must be *done* for salvation.
Yes, the "response" is obedience to the command, "repent", by grace through faith. It is the response of being "saved", from (Matthew 1:21) "sin" (1 John 3:4), not in sin (and transgression of the 4th commandment, like any other commandment, is sin, still sin, always will be sin; Romans 7:7). Keeping the fourth commandment is the same as keeping any other commandment in salvation (not "for" salvation). To reject to keep the sabbath, means is rejecting 'salvation' "from" sin (1 John 3:4).Anything we do is in *response* to already *being* saved or in salvation....
That is a terrible misrepresentation of the Koine Greek, and error:Ephesians 2;14
14 For he is our peace; in his flesh he has made both groups into one and has broken down the dividing wall, that is, the hostility between us. 15 He has abolished the law with its commandments and ordinances, that he might create in himself one new humanity in place of the two, thus making peace,
Sabbath is not "saturday" in technicality. The sabbath is God's Holy and blessed time (evening to evening) in which He rested, while "saturday" is pagan and on differing time (midnight to midnight). There is not one scripture that states the Sabbath must be Saturday and we are not to worship on Sunday.
It is because you are willingly blind and deaf, choosing not to see, nor hear.I don't see anywhere that you answered my question.
Yes, as Jesus demonstrated:Are you permitted to carry object on Sabbath or not?
Demonstrate where I said any such thing. I'll wait. You exaggerated.Ok, you never sin, got it. ...
Talking about "the sabbath" on the "Sabbath and the Law" forum, just 'imagine', right?...Lots of talk here about the Sabbath, but no one mentions "Do not covet."...
Told you this is war. They know better. God hath showed it unto them (Romans 1). They refuse Him and his word. They did not come here to find truth, nor to study. They came with agenda, with cliche, with propaganda, with eisigesis, with apriori, with slander, with libel, with accusation, with exaggeration. Now your making things up that no one has said. This is sad for you.
You exclude "hate" in love. You redefined Love. I demonstrated to you that Love includes hate (appropriate, "perfect" hate).27 “But to you who are listening I say: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, 28 bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you.
19 We love because he first loved us. 20 Whoever claims to love God yet hates a brother or sister is a liar. For whoever does not love their brother and sister, whom they have seen, cannot love God, whom they have not seen.
So, if we are to love both those that hate us and our brothers and sisters, who is there left to hate?
You claim to be a "Methodist", and do not even acknowledge what the beginning of Methodism taught, even from John Wesley:
It is because you are willingly blind and deaf, choosing not to see, nor hear.
Yes, as Jesus demonstrated:
John 5:8 Jesus saith unto him, Rise, take up thy bed, and walk.
John 5:9 And immediately the man was made whole, and took up his bed, and walked: and on the same day was the sabbath.
You read the OT as the Pharisees did, in eisigesis. Blind leaders of the blind, and as such you will fall into the the deep ditch, that harlot of Revelation 17 (Proverbs 23:27).
Jesus was in full compliance with the statments in the OT, while the pharisees, scribes and people such as yourself have all kinds of religious traditions and eisigesis which make of none effect the commands of God.
God hates sin, as these passages show. And David may have hated his enemies, but David was not under the new covenant, and did not have Jesus' command to love his enemies. They certainly don't tell us we have a right or reason to hate anyone. We can hate their deeds, but not the person. That God or man can hate someone's sin perfectly was not the issue. It was whether we can hate anyone. This is a much bigger issue than whether we keep certain days separate. You exclude "hate" in love. You redefined Love. I demonstrated to you that Love includes hate (appropriate, "perfect" hate).
David, the type of Christ is speaking by the Holy Ghost:
Psalms 139:21 Do not I hate them, O LORD, that hate thee? and am not I grieved with those that rise up against thee?
Psalms 139:22 I hate them with perfect hatred: I count them mine enemies.
God is speaking, even Jesus Christ:
Revelation 2:6 But this thou hast, that thou hatest the deeds of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate.
Revelation 2:15 So hast thou also them that hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitans, which thing I hate.
Ephesians 2;14
14 For he is our peace; in his flesh he has made both groups into one and has broken down the dividing wall, that is, the hostility between us. 15 He has abolished the law with its commandments and ordinances, that he might create in himself one new humanity in place of the two, thus making peace,

This is some convoluted reasoning to get around God's Sabbath command. Getting all allegorical does not help your cause when you are so literal on the Sabbath rules that you do claim to follow. Either keep it all or do not disparage others for not keeping it.Where is our "camp" Loren, according to Galatians and Revelation?
Galatians 4:26 But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all.
Revelation 20:9 And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.
John 14:2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
John 14:3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
Revelation 21:2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
Therefore, when have I, as a Christian, whose name is written in Heaven (Luke 10:20; Hebrews 12:23), left the Holy City and my place therein?
"Christ Jesus gives strength to overcome all sin. Yes or no?"Demonstrate where I said any such thing. I'll wait. You exaggerated.
1 John 2:1 My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:
"if", not "when".
Now your making things up that no one has said. This is sad for you.
