Whatever Satan did with Eve, he did with Adam...

and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat

And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.

They both covered up their "parts" below the waist...

You're welcome, lilmiss.

And as for Adam having intercourse with the devil, he would have had to in order to be guilty of the same transgression as Eve. Adam having intercourse with Eve wouldn't have been a sin. And Satan is the most powerful of the celestial beings created by God (see Ezekiel ch. 28). I don't believe that shape-changing into a female form would have been too difficult for him to accomplish.

okay ... I can see your point ... I just have to figure out how to wrap my head around this through scripture ... those are good verses in Ezekiel to work from ... I reference them a lot for quite a variety of subjects ... now I need to go look at them again :)

that's what I was looking for ... thanks for that ... confirms that's my starting point

Or....he didn't....Sodom anyone?

this is kind of where I am ... Or ... he didn't ...

thanks for the help, guys ... I'll for sure go through this ... for the moment after reading these though, I'm left with a question? So if Adam slept with Satan there and not Eve ... where did Abel come from? ... if you put it into context of they were twins ... I've read quite a bit on the actuality of twins by two fathers and there's absolutely no denying it takes place ... but I don't remember twins being born like weeks apart or however long ... but it might be so

yea ... I need to go mull all this over ... thank you again :)

And as for Cain not being of Adam but of Satan (serpent) I think it's quite possible ... and it's easy to explain.

Genesis 4:2

And she again bare his brother, Abel. And Abel was a keeper of sheep, but Cain was a tiller of ground.

My understanding is Cain and Abel were twins ...

again ... Hebrew, Strongs 3254 ... to continue to do a thing ... add, x again, x any more, etc.

And Adam knew Eve his wife...And she again bare his brother Abel

"again bare" = continued in labor = fraternal twins born one after the other

agreed :)

so where I'm hung up at is what does Adam sleeping with the devil have to do with Cain being of the devil  or is that a seperate issue ... which would mean to the subject of Cain's lineage it's not a factor? thank you for your patience

LOL! Do you actually believe Scripture or not? Jesus actually rose from the grave. There will actually be a resurrection of bodies who are currently in graves.
Adam and Eve actually had sex with each other and conceived Cain. Adam and Eve actually had sex with each other again and conceived Abel. Cain and Abel were not fraternal twins with two different fathers.

Keep twisting that scripture, Zadok! What's next? - there was a race of people before humanity? How about aliens were here first?

What Adam did with Satan had nothing to do with Cain. Adam and Eve were apparently exiled from Eden on the same day they sinned. Adam slept with Eve later the same day. I don't see any problem.

thank you! that's what I needed ...

I just read something interesting. It is possible that Adam was made mortal by having sexual intercourse with Eve. Immortals are not supposed to have sexual intercourse, so perhaps it was a sin for him to sleep with Eve while they were in the garden. That may make more sense than Adam having any kind of relations with Satan.

Matthew 22:30 For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven.

Mark 12:25 For when they shall rise from the dead, they neither marry, nor are given in marriage; but are as the angels which are in heaven.

Note: The angels of God in heaven, angel which are in heaven, do not marry. Obedient angels do not marry. Fallen angels who take human form can.

But Adam was made man, men are not immortal.

Genesis 2:4-7
This is the account of the heavens and the earth when they were created.
When the LORD God made the earth and the heavens- and no shrub of the field had yet appeared on the earth and no plant of the field had yet sprung up, for the LORD God had not sent rain on the earth and there was no man to work the ground, but streams came up from the earth and watered the whole surface of the ground- 7 the LORD God formed the man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.

Matthew 22:30 For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven.

Mark 12:25 For when they shall rise from the dead, they neither marry, nor are given in marriage; but are as the angels which are in heaven.

So in my understand if what you say is true than Eve was immortal too .... Right??

Well, it's possible Adam and Eve would have been immortal if they had remained in the Garden. In fact, that's the reason Yahweh gives for expelling them.

Genesis 3:22-23
22 And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:
23 Therefore the LORD God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken.

I was pretty sure that the whole thing was a spiritual thing, the living forever and dying. When satan said if you eat from the tree you will not die, I though he was talking a spiritual death. Because he was right they didn't die, not right away but they did die spiritually didn't they? The garden of Eden is a real place anyways, it says in Genesis that there are angels garding it today.

Genesis 3:24
After he drove the man out, he placed on the east side of the Garden of Eden cherubim and a flaming sword flashing back and forth to guard the way to the tree of life.

Yes, they did experience spiritual death. That's why all the descendants of Adam and Eve today need to be born again in order to be spiritually alive. And you're right, the Garden of Eden is a real place. The Bible never tells us it was destroyed, so we may assume it still exists today, only made invisible and inaccessible to mortals.

I will have to think on this for awhile as it is a huge concept to grasp. thank you for your insight though, I have never thought of the possiblity of Adam and Eve being immortal.

You're welcome. It makes sense, doesn't it? Death is the penalty for sin. If they had never sinned, they would not would not have needed to die.
