Where does it say in the New Testament that a just man falls 7 times a day? Are you talking about the Parable of the Tax Collector and the Pharisee? If so, we can discuss that if you like. The just man falls seven times a day. That's the "just" man.
So whether or not a person is bothered by the sins he commits or "struggles," salvation cannot be contingent upon becoming sinless or else no one would be saved.
That seems to be the big hang-up amongst the loss of salvation ilk. You're thinking of sin as something you "get away with" is very telling.
And there's a verse to support your statement: 2 Tim 2:13 - If we are faithless, He remains faithful, for He cannot deny Himself.Paul is telling them to act in line with who they are. Your theology would have people saved and unsaved 10 times a day!
Thankfully Christians are born of an *imperishable* seed. "not of perishable seed but of imperishable."
Christians have something that Adam and Eve never had, we have the spirit of the risen Christ. This is why we cannot be lost. The Father can never lose the Son. Christians are now children. We are family members, not slaves. Slaves are tossed out when they err; however, sons are loved all the more when they do.
The fair question is aren't you yourself trying to get away with doing evil EVERY TIME you STILL sin? HUH?When a person knows to do right and they don't do it, why would you think that they are not trying to get away with doing evil?
There are unintentional and intentional sins.Did they just stumble accidentally into it?
There is NO EXCUSE before God. Why would anyone even think to ask such a silly question? Rom 1:20 - For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse.Would that excuse work with God? ...
Paul, THE pre-eminent theologian of God's Word gave his personal testimony about his own struggles with sin in Rom 7. Yet you continue to think that one can become sinlessly perfect. Not everyone struggles with sin like you think.
Physical death. Where we lose our corrupted bodies of sin. Only THEN will we be sinless. Not before. But what is the alternative?
The ONLY way to be saved is to believe on Jesus. Your theology is seriously flawed.Give into sin and have a belief on Jesus and think you are saved?
How could you? Your eyes have been tightly close when verses are presented that refute your notions and assumptions.I don't see this this teaching anywhere promoted in the Bible.
Please open your eyes. The Bible is clear on teaching believers to live righteously and holy. But NOT for salvation. For blessings and reward. There would then be no teaching on believers living righteously or holy if that was the case. ...
I'm astonished at your misunderstanding of what He taught. Many people were astonished at Christ's teachings.

Why do you respond with smart remarks instead of the Word of God? I do have an answer for you with God's Word if you are interested. So, get walking.

Free Grace:I'm astonished at your misunderstanding of what He taught.
If you will continue to make smart remarks and not talk to me in a kind and respectful manner involving the Word of God then this conversation between us is over. That's the problem, you think you have answers.

Jesus was God in the flesh and He could read their thoughts and know about the intimate details of their life. But Jesus also did quote Scripture a lot. Why because He is the living Word and the Written Word abides in Him. Those who are of God abide in His Word and they do what it says. They are intimately familiar with God's Word and they love to talk about His Word every chance they get. For man shall not live by bread alone.Did Jesus talk to the pharisees of His day in a "kind and respectful manner"?

I want folks to picture what the Pharisses did to Jesus. They did not talk in a loving way to Him or discuss the Scriptures in a kind way but they mocked him and verbally attacked Jesus. What are some folks doing here?
Certainly. The New Testament gives more than a little evidence to the effect that a believer is to ENDEAVOR to walk as Jesus walked. But that's not the same as your contention that they are always and in every instance successful at it and that anyone who falls, ever, is therefore lost.He that abides in Him is to walk even as he walked (1 John 2:6).

We are commanded to be perfect by the Lord. Jesus also told two people to stop sinning. But walking as He walked does not mean we have to do every single exact thing He did. Jesus and His followers let us know which Commands are an essential part of every true believer's life. Yes, if we do honestly fail at some point, we do have God's grace. But God's grace is not a license for us to sin but it is to help us to overcome our sin and to walk in holiness and righteousness. You can't sin and also be holy. You can't be on and off and on and off all the time your whole life and also be holy. We are told to choose this day in whom we will serve. Sin is of the devil's kingdom. Righteousness is of God's Kingdom. Jesus said you cannot serve two masters.Certainly. It has everything to do with the situation. And that has nothing to do with anything, as usual.
