You're free to think that if you'd like as long as you recognize that there is no biblical support for that.

Yes. Just a theory......but to say “ no Biblical Support “ is wrong....and no, I don’t want to start a debate and no,that does t mean I am afraid to debate because I know in my heart that I am wrong.....blah...blah...blah....may God forgive me—-sometimes I am just lazy. Lol

And who wrote Exodus?
You are painting yourself into a atheistic corner. We THINK Moses wrote Exodus and certainly wrote much of it... but we trust that God inspired those words. I ask you, who wrote Romans or Acts or Matthew? Mere men outside the inspiration of God, or men as they were inspired by God?

Be VERY careful as you undermine the Torah... because almost 33% of the NT is a quote or an inference taken from what we call the OT. AND... since Messiah himself said that the Scriptures (OF HIS DAY, there was no NT until 200 AD) testify of HIM... then by undermining Exodus and other OT books, you are undermining that which testifies, bears witness of.... messiah himself.

Don’t you know that “no good deed” goes unpunished...

In the first chapter of Mel Gibson, it says Never Exaggerate to make a point.

Ahem... Lol... it may matter that I skimmed your post and misread it. I have corrected my lack of humor and understanding...

I ask your Forgivness per the gospel of Charlatan Heston.

If we believe honesty leads to atheism, then we should all be atheists. If we "fear" becoming atheist by chasing the truth, then we should all be atheists. From my experience chasing the truth leads to the exact opposite: a peace, a calm, not worry or doubt (unless our faith hangs on things we doubt). When you write "we trust that God inspired those words" we are in agreement and walking in the same direction: belief in the inspiration of the Bible from Genesis through to Revelation relies on trusting the process by which the bible was formulated. I believe God inspired the Bible and men by inspiration wrote what they believed to be true. Paul recognised the difference between writing from himself and writing by the Spirit. Did every author have this awareness? There is a big difference between writing down a story, or the words of Jesus, or a vision -- all of which personal opinions do not alter the message -- to what Moses did in the law. God gave Moses the authority to write some of the laws. As you agree the personality of the author is in each book, the book must then be influenced by the author to some degree. Our job is to look for God within the inspired words, not get too hung up on "Thus saith the Lord" -- a much stronger formula for revelation is "Thus did the Lord".

But it is only honesty as YOU perceive it. I placed the verse before you that said ALL of the words of the Lord were written by Moses. Now, either you accept that or you remove Exodus from your bible, which deletes Sinai and makes it so that verses like Psalms 105:8-10 are longer be trustworthy. Since what messiah did BUILDS on those (OT) things, you undermine messiah's work and place our faith in great peril.

Listen... when Paul said, "all scripture is given by the inspiration of God and can be used for doctrine, reproof, correct, and instruction in righteousness," he was NOT talking about the NT. Do you know how I know? Because at that time, "Scripture" was the Torah and Prophets, the Writings hadn't even been canonized yet. Most of the NT wasn't written yet and what was, were letters to certain people or groups. So, Paul had no issue with "thus saith the Lord" and you do... I am sorry, I think I will go with the bible on this one. Be blessed.

either you accept that or you remove Exodus from your bible

Pretty sure these aren't the only two options

Since what messiah did BUILDS on those (OT) things, you undermine messiah's work and place our faith in great peril.

Maybe if your faith is rooted in the perfection of the bible...

when Paul said, "all scripture is given by the inspiration of God and can be used for doctrine, reproof, correct, and instruction in righteousness," he was NOT talking about the NT.

I agree with Paul. I agree he was not talking about certain books in the OT, and probably included some books that aren't in the OT. But I haven't looked into it too much.

I think I will go with the bible on this one

Generally a good idea.
