Since it's not established that A => B, your logic is unsound: it is not established that the reason the Bible has not 'passed away' is because it's 'Gods word' - it's entirely possible, for instance, that if it's just an old piece of test, it's persisted by sheer chance. After all, there must be a most popular religion, and it would have a scared text - who's to say that Christianity didn't just get lucky?

At one time Darwin USED that term "survival of the fitest" regarding natural selection but later it was rejected when it didn't fit exactly true to form.

Once again science has their own "adaptations" of the English language to "fix" the errors of the past. That's the only way they can get people to accept what they promote. Lots of little bandaids that they hope no one looks at... and for the most part most don't. They just bow down to the gods of science and say ... yes, of course, we can see it (especially when you give us such meaningful pictures with your explanations), praise be to the gods of science... the Darwinians Ha Ha Ha. Getting my Russian A-Level, now that's important to me. As is passing my CBT and getting an awesome Suzuki GSX1300. As is going to see Hairspray live on Saturday. As is celebrating Easter with my friends, family, and partner - with the added bonus that I get to indulge in all the food I've given up for lent.

I'm saying that's a valid possibility. Because it's at least possible that the Bible is the most popular religious text out of sheer luck*, his argument that this proves God exists, is fallacious. The sheer fact that the Bible is popular doesn't prove God exists, nor that he is the reason it's popular.

*After all, even if there are no gods, there's still going to be religious texts, and one of them is going to have the most followers.

None like the Bible though!! The Bible isn't popular because people like the wording. The Bible is popular because it brings them to God on so many levels. It is God's message to man and when men believe and follow it they can actually come into the presence of the supreme Diety. It changes peoples lives. That's evidence WC. Lives changed, healed, set free, etc. All because of the Bible. Don't you suppose with all the rhetoric online and books written against it that if it was as you say it is that it would have fallen by the wayside already. No, men and women have given their lives for this book and GOD has preserved it and it is not popular by luck or chance. NO OTHER book has gone through the scrutiny or praise that the Bible has. No, WC, this is God's word to mankind, written down and preserved and all you have to do is believe it and obey. It's a book of light and truth but it tells us, "Men loved darkness better than Light, BECAUSE their deeds were evil." That's the reason it is rejected. People don't want to obey it.
