No I don't. I believe that the apocalyptic expectations of the early church were a huge mistake that has haunted and will continue to haunt Christianity down through the centuries.

I do not believe that it is intellectually, emotionally or even spiritually healthy to live our lives in constant expectation of the end times. We should live our lives optimistically with a view to making this world a better place not just today or tomorrow but into the far distant future.

Oh.. Ok... I believe the bible says his kingdom is attacked from the north and east of his kingdom ... After he gets the victory north and east of his kingdom ,he returns to Israel to destroy the rebellion lead by 2 witnesses ..


If his kingdom consist of the old Grecian empire territory which is the 4 horns that were separated by Alexander generals after Alexander died united again under him , then north and east of his kingdom will need to be dealt with ...

There seems to be no threat from the west ..Because those nations submit to him ... The south will be first to be put down by him

Which would put him coming from the west - because the King of the South attacks him, his headquarters in Jerusalem Building on your theory using Daniel 11

40 And at the time of the end shall the king of the south push at him: and the king of the north shall come against him like a whirlwind, with chariots, and with horsemen, and with many ships; and he shall enter into the countries, and shall overflow and pass over.

41 He shall enter also into the glorious land, and many countries shall be overthrown: but these shall escape out of his hand, even Edom, and Moab, and the chief of the children of Ammon.

In Revelation 11, the beast makes war on the two witnesses and kills them - at the end of their 1260 testimony. So why did the beast wait 1260 days before he kills them.

I think your timing is off, dfw. In Revelation 13, with 42 months left in the 7 years,

4 And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?

So they are saying who is able to make war with beast... and yet for 1260 days he cannot kill the two witnesses, in your scenario? That doesn't make sense, dfw.

My view is that the two witnesses testify for the first 1260 days of the 7years - against the Antichrist person, the person Israel has embraced as their king - who turns bad and becomes the beast, who kills them as soon as he becomes the beast. Leaving the 42 months, which people will actually have a reason to say who is able to make war against the beast - because for 1260 days no-one could stop the witnesses, until the person becomes the beast and as the beast he is able to kill them.

Keep in mind my scenario does not take place under today's events ...but towards the end of the falling away from the faith when God will judge the false messianic age that has fooled the world

as one of the 10 horns .. He has agreed to enter into the covenant with the king of the south (Judah)of that era for seven years ... Probably some type of Babylonian Talmud covenant I'm not aware of

But then rises to power over the 10 kingdoms ...The first 31/2 years

Then he comes to the king of the south and Jerusalem flees to the wilderness to Petra being warned

He will rule from Jerusalem for the last 31/2 years ... This is when 2 witness appear ... When the temple has been over run by Gentiles i.e. 10 northern tribes of Israel and the abominable of desolatation took placed ...

Those true Israelites that flee to Petra are feed for 1260 days by edom and Moab I think

After setting up the idol in the temple, he leaves to the north and east of his kingdom then towards the end of the 2 witnesses testimony he returns having gathered all nations at mt meggido and eventually kills the two witnesses...

There is a brief moment of victory and peace for 3 days ... They will send gifts to one another .... Then the sudden destruction and horrible plague of Zachariah 14 falls
