Christians in Nigeria are still killing gays and burning witches,
Riiiiight ...

And if they were, would it be with respect to this universal constant, or in spite of it?

It seems to bother you (and me), so I'll take a guess and say in spite of it.

There is no universal constant, our morality stems from the parents/society we were raised in and you know it.

What do you call the Ten Commandments?
A figment of some ones imagination, every society has it's commandments and not all of them are the same,
pretty much the only constant would be, thou shalt not kill, unless the society condones honour killing.

Don't tell me you think a God handed them down?
Exodus 31:18 And he gave unto Moses, when he had made an end of communing with him upon mount Sinai, two tables of testimony, tables of stone, written with the finger of God.

You believe that? why would you? what reason do you have to believe that other than you were told to.
You don't believe all the other holy books do you? why not? because the bible got to you first?

And what did God supposedly write on these tablets?

I am particularly interested in the last two items.

You believe that?
Of course I believe it.
why would you?
God said it? that settles it.
what reason do you have to believe that other than you were told to.
I read it for myself.
You don't believe all the other holy books do you?
No ... and I don't recognize them as [truly] holy.
My favorite reason is to ask if you believe it.

If you don't, mind if I don't either?

Why is it you have a right to dismiss it, but I don't?
because the bible got to you first?
Yes -- thank God.

Ooh! Ooh! I know!

A Biblical myth.

Here is a hint AV, any story involving a make believe character is practically always a myth. No Exodus, no Moses.
Cute.

A perfect example of self delusion, you want it to be true so it is true, how many years did it take you to get to this stage? it just shows what the imagination can do, I must admit we don't see the religious nuts shouting on the street corners any more, doctors and drugs are doing a wonderful job.

Do you believe that Genghis Khan united all the tribes of Northeast Asia, conquered most all of Eurasia, and is the founding father of Mongolia? Or is it just a delusion?

We have evidence of Genghis Khan besides the bronze age writings of one small tribe. One piece of evidence are the many offspring he left behind scattered wherever he conquered. DNA, it is a wonderful tool.

So, what evidence supports your beliefs?

No, we've pretty much established this to be mostly true.

The question is, do you know why we think this is true, because based on your statement, it would indicate you don't.

Oh, come on!

How much longer are you going to keep this charade going?

What charade?

You know that what the Bible says is written on those rocks makes you look foolish. That is why you avoid answering this simple question.

One more time AV, what was supposedly written on those rocks? I would like the tenth commandment especially. You know the one that God supposedly wrote.
