quarantining the diseased to stop the spread of their disease.
Then you need to do a google search on what the Bible teaches about quarantining. Remember Moses wrote the Bible 3500 years ago.

The Bible and Laws of Quarantine
Long before medical science discovered the importance of quarantine of persons with infectious diseases, the Bible instigated them. In 1490 B.C. the Scriptures tell the children of Israel what to do if a man has leprosy: "All the days wherein the plague shall be in him he shall be defiled; he is unclean: he shall dwell alone; without the camp shall his habitation be" (Leviticus 13:46). Laws of quarantine were not instigated by modern man until the seventeenth century.

"During the devastating Black Death of the fourteenth century, patients who were sick or dead were kept in the same rooms as the rest of the family. People often wondered why the disease was affecting so many people at one time. They attributed these epidemics to "bad air" or "evil spirits." However, careful attention to the medical commands of God as revealed in Leviticus would have saved untold millions of lives. Arturo Castiglione wrote about the overwhelming importance of this biblical medical law: "The laws against leprosy in Leviticus 13 may be regarded as the first model of sanitary legislation" (A History of Medicine).

This is all very simple and you're trying to make it complicated. Follow the Bible and you will have life, health, blessings and prosperity. IF you do not follow the Bible you will have plagues, sickness, death, destruction and poverty. Each and every individual has to make that choice. The Black Plague in London was a result of the people in London NOT following the Teaching of Moses in the Bible. Each and every individual has to make that choice for themselves.

How ignorant. Most places on earth are not christian and manage just fine. Se the nordic countries who are mostly atheist, Japan etc.

You do realise that in the very post you cut up, I LITERALLY SAID THAT THE ONLY THING I AGREE ON IS THE FACT THAT BIBLE TALKS ABOUT QUARANTINING.

why do you keep trying to link civil engineering to the Teachings of Moses?
We are talking about the word: "CIVIL". Engineering is a part of that. Also we have Civil law. The point is that we can not have a city without following the teaching of Moses that we read in the Bible. The age or era we currently live in began around 12,900 years ago. Something very profound and rapid happened at the time of Adam and Eve around 6,000 years ago. I am trying to distinguish the difference between what happened in a moment or instant of time and what took place over a period of 12,900 years.

Many people do not realize that 12,900 years ago we went through an extinction event and 90% of the species went extinct at that time. We then had what they call a population explosion or a radiation. There have been 6 events like this since life began on this planet.

Joshua, just answer the question I asked you! Why do you keep trying to link civil engineering to the Teachings of Moses?
I only ask because EVERY TIME you talk about civil engineering, you bring up the Teachings of Moses like you think they are linked. But you give ZERO explanation as to why you feel that they are linked.

Why do you keep trying to link civil engineering to the Teachings of Moses?
Because Moses gave the plans for building the temple. He gave the plans for how to build a city. Even though at the time the people were nomads. Today we still follow what Moses gave us in the Bible. Today we are still trying to understand the teaching of Moses and how to apply them to our day and age.

What plan? What temple? Where? And also, that logic is just wrong because A TEMPLE IS NOT A CITY.
Line upon line and precept upon precept. We all need to learn HOW to apply the teaching in the Bible to our lives.

We see clearly in Scripture that Moses was a strategic thinker—or at least he learned to be. Moses was struggling as a leader soon after he led the nation of Israel out of Egypt. His father-in-law, Jethro, came to see him after hearing the incredible things God had been doing. Jethro observed that Moses was overwhelmed with the burdens of leadership and shared with him a God-given plan—a strategy—for dealing with the issue. Jethro taught Moses how to set up a strategic plan by delegating the work so that the load would be spread among many. As a result, the manpower resources were used more effectively and the ministry was accomplished.

Joshua, let me repeat my question since you obviously did not understand it.
What plan of Moses' are you referring to? What temple are you referring to? Where in the Bible is this plan of Moses' are you referring to? And also (and this does not need to be simplified), that logic is just wrong because A TEMPLE IS NOT A CITY.

A TEMPLE IS NOT A CITY
Today the True Church is the Temple. Like Abraham we seek a city whose Maker and Founder is God. "For he was looking forward to the city with foundations, whose architect and builder is God." Hebrews 11:10

In the Book of Ezekiel in the Hebrew Bible, New Jerusalem is Ezekiel's prophetic vision of a city centered on the rebuilt Holy Temple, the Third Temple, to be established in Jerusalem, which would be the capital of the Messianic Kingdom, the meeting place of the twelve tribes of Israel, during the Messianic era.

"I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband." Rev 21:2

Before Jerusalam the city was called Salam.

Salem (Hebrew שָׁלֵם, Shalem, Greek Σαλήμ) is an ancient, Middle Eastern town mentioned in the Bible. Salem is referenced in the following biblical passages: "And Melchizedek king of Salem brought forth bread and wine: and he was the priest of the most high God." (Genesis 14:18)

Joshua, PLEASE answer the question I ACTUALLY ASKED YOU: What plan of Moses' are you referring to? What temple are you referring to? Where in the Bible is this plan of Moses' are you referring to?
PLEASE try and actually answer my question this time.

The temple that was sitting on the temple mount in Jerusalem.

And do you not understand that a plan for building a temple, a SINGULAR building, is not the same as the plan for building a city, a COLLECTION OF MULTIPLE buildings?

Of course, as I said the Church is the temple. Not everyone is a part of the church. Not everyone accepts their priesthood before God. 1 Peter2:5 "you also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ."

Joshua, let me repeat myself since you seem to have a massive inability to understand simple English: a plan for building a temple is not the same as the plan for building a city since they are not the same thing. So you're claim that the Teachings of Moses can be linked to civil engineering is JUST SIMPLY WRONG.
Do you understand what I'm saying to you?
