CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Not totally. Nalye is correct as far as "you are". The "a" is understood. Mára is the right word for .good". The only problem with your translation is the word for friend. Nilda is the Quenya word for "friendly" or "loving". The word you would need is nildë. This word stands for "friend" (fem.). Just in case you wanted it, the word for "friend" (masc.) is nildo.Lubiana said:

It's all Sindarin... Eru is both Sindarin and Quenya. I'm better at Sindarin than Quenya... it's less formal. Great thread BTW!morvaltur said:

so The kzin's first encounter (and first attempt to get more "sport Prey") was disastrous... for them- their warship got taken out by a colony ship without any weapons because of the captains ingenious use the fusion-laser engine... and thus the first sets the tone for the majority of the man kzin wars- humanity varely manages to win against greater odds, technology and lightning reflexes through cunning and trickery.
