CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Nope. Been busy with school. But I've been having fun composing a melody for Galadriel's lament. It probably stinks, and I couldn't design piano accompaniment without a lot of education, but it's satisfying.morvaltur said:

My summer job is twofold. One, I am helping some neighbors get ready to sell their place, which means cleaning baseboards, cleaning flower beds, cleaning river rock for the beds, puting down some new rock, stuff like that. Two, I have the job that I work at year round, which is a technical position (computers, electronics) at a financial consulting company that works mainly with dairymen.

*Shrugs* It's better than nothing, but for minimum wage I'd rather be a lifeguard or something. My job isn't very interesting... well, except when things go wrong, but that's a bad kind of interesting.morvaltur said:

Helping out in my school's computer lab. Mostly I've been cleaning out computers, running disk cleanup and disk defragmenter, installing programs, renaming computers... basic stuff which I could do (or could have learned to do) in elementary school.morvaltur said:
