The Southern Baptist Theological SeminaryWhat is TSBTS?
ἡμέραι τοῦ αἰῶνος (LXX, Quoted in TDNT, but see also Amos (Amos) 9 :: Septuagint (LXX)) Obviously a Greek word isn’t used in the Hebrew.Days of Olam.. Not aion.
What sort of degree did you receive? Associate, Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral? The flag ship seminary of a large southern denomination. TSBTS.
Yeah, right! You're a regular Bible scholar. You probably don't know a hithpael from a hat pin or an aorist from an apple. My point is an entire doctrine usually ends up falling back on a single word as its foundation.
Nunya! What sort of degree did you receive? Associate, Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral?
Are you claiming to be a Bible scholar?Yeah, right! You're a regular Bible scholar. You probably don't know a hithpael from a hat pin or an aorist from an apple.
In other words you didn't earn a degree from TSBTS.Nunya!

According to who aside from yourself?Hardly. But some better than many around here.
Really? You ask me more questions after you told me to stick to the topic?BS in what?
It’s atypical. It’s under meaning b, prolonged time or eternity. The other main use is time of the world or the world to come.I have the abridged edition one vol. Didn't see that entry. Will check again.
I said that after my last question about your academic background, which you prompted by boasting about yourself.Really? You ask me more questions after you told me to stick to the topic?

But aionios has a separate entry, which is based roughly on aion but has its own nuances.
I agree. But a lot more images suggest destruction. UR has to contend with that possibility also. Personally I think to get to UR, you have to be willing to disagree with Matthew. I don’t have a problem with that, but many would. It seems to me doctrine that comes down to a debate over a single word, used in a figurative story no less, doesn't have much to stand on.
