Whataboutism is used to excuse some behavior. But there is no excuse for this lie, nor the lies told by Trump and the Republicans. I'm just pointing out the BLATANT HYPOCRISY of the Democrats pretending like they're concerned with lies when their party fed them some whoppers that they eagerly and willingly swallowed.

Perhaps you're still in denial, having believed the lie for so long, but you should cach up.

It is not. It is the primary reason he is no longer running for office, because his mental decline was laid bare on the debate stage. The Democrats immediately turned on him because the lie had been exposed and it was no longer possible to keep it up.

Not only did the Democrats lie about Biden's mental acuity, they had the nerve to gaslight people and tell them that he was fine, sharp as ever, the best version of Biden they'd ever seen. Then they mobilized the "fact-checkers" to concoct tales of "cheap fakes". It was a concerted effort by everyone involved to conceal just how far Biden declined.

So yes, it is far different. This was a concerted effort that spanned years.

But I think it's fair to say that Democrats were aware of Biden's declining state as early as 2021. I can post an article you can read if you'd like. You see, now that the lie has collapsed spectacularly on the public stage, Democrats are more than happy to tell you that there's been something wrong with Biden for years. But it wasn't OK to say that out loud until June 28 of this year.

Again, I didn't make the statement. But IMO, this was a pretty big coverup. 3 years ago, Pelosi was frustrated with Biden's miscues. Nothing was said publicly until just a few weeks ago.
