The creation museum tells us they must have been very fit in the Stone Age.Funny thing is, someone once calculated that a car like that could actually reach speeds comparable to a motorcar on a highway, but the problem would be that it would take a huge distance to slow back down.
How did you arrive at sell, i mentioned noting about selling, I stated free.
I guess people just see it they way they want to.
I'm using the term "selling" in a metaphorical sense. It's not really free, since it involves the adoption of a particular belief system and everything that comes with that.
And beyond that, let's be honest here; religion is big business especially in the U.S. For example, Answers in Genesis takes in tens of millions of $ in revenue each year.
Oh, and that makes it right?Mass murders and mass killers usually don't warn their targets ahead of time.
Noah preached for 120 years of God's righteousness, before the Flood occurred.
God sent nine plagues on Egypt before "the big one."
If it is not free then explain the cost., because i have none.
Trusting in The Messiah for Eternal Life does not require adopting a system. It simply is a belief that evidence presented is true.
Really? So none of your personal convictions, decisions, etc., are made on the basis of your religious beliefs?
Let's test that then.
What is your position on the following and why:
* Abortion
* Gay marriage
* Sex before marriage
* Transsexual/transgender rights
The problem is the evidence doesn't really support it; at least not when one adopts a rigorous standard for that evidence. I've often said that if fundamentalists required the same level of evidence they demand of science, they'd all be atheists.
However such beliefs are not typically adopted on the basis of rational evidence, but rather adopted for emotional reasons, personal fulfillment, etc.
Under the Trump administration they appear to have become the same thing. But neither is on topic for this forum.Are we talking about how a person receives the free gift of eternal life or some political agenda, because they are not same.

I’ve been there. They put a lot of work into it, and I appreciate their efforts and outreach.What do you like or dislike about the Creation Museum in Kentucky?
Answer the question I posed and let's find out then.
What is your position on the following and why:
* Abortion

I can not answer it, as your list does not factor into receiving eternal life.
So, it’s helpful to hear from folks who see geology as Scripture-confirming.
Can you at least tell us whether you think that salvation can be attained without believing in a young Earth or a literal global flood?I can not answer it, as your list does not factor into receiving eternal life.
Well, to get this back on track; Answers in Genesis has disabled the possibility to comment on all its videos on Youtube. Which is quite a downer.What do you like or dislike about the Creation Museum in Kentucky?
Scientific claims can be tested. How can you test all the claims made in the Creation Museum? And what was the outcome of these tests?Indeed the claim that it was created in a seven day week is a claim about the facts of the history of planet Earth - in this case a claim about the origins of life on Earth and the existence of Sun and Moon as well as the geography and atmosphere of Earth.Any claim about the nature of the earth is a scientific claim. The flooding of the plane is a scientific claim that can be tested.
I would never doubt that obvious detail.
(The emphasis is mine)Which is their entire shtick: convince the lay public that science confirms creationist beliefs when the reality is anything but.
The truth is that geology doesn't confirm the Young Earth belief nor the idea of global flood. If YEC geology was really the truth, then the oil/gas/mining industries would have adopted YEC geology decades ago.
But for believers, that doesn't really matter. Things like the Creation Museum exists just to tell people what they want to hear.
Seems to me atheists go there as well.To react to the last sentence: the Creation Museum exists just to make easy money from American christians.
Because God called them here?driewerf said:Have you ever wondered why Ken Ham en Ray Comfort came from New Zealand to the USA to preach christianity.
Unless God told them otherwise.driewerf said:If they wanted to convert people to christianity the would go to places where the majority of the people are NOT christian,
Or it was chosen for them.driewerf said:... yet they chose the USA ...
Seems to me atheists go there as well.
