I WANT to remember... I just don't...
Anyway, here's the chapter for Saturday June 21st. Numbers 14 NIV - The People Rebel - That night all the - Bible Gateway
Setting some alarms on my phone so maybe I can post on time.
God bless you,
Grace
Ok, I'm posting 12 hours late, but today's chapter is Numbers 15 NIV - Supplementary Offerings - The LORD said - Bible Gateway
I agree, I found it amazing that God continued to look over the Israelites and speak with them through Moses after all of their defiance. Personally I would have given up by that point, but it does prove that God is persistent, all loving, and truly wants his people to love Him back.God's grace is inexplicable that He was STILL interacting with the Israelites, through Moses.....He was STILL gonna bring them into the land He spoke of, even after all of their disobedience....
Verses 1 and 2:
1 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,
2 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye be come into the land of your habitations, which I give unto you,

But I wonder what the 4 tassels signifies other than to remember the commandments. Why 4? Why not 5 or 10? What do the "corners" of the robe signify? That sort of robe, is it like a tunic with open sides? That would have 4 corners, but if it was more like a robe we know of today here in the US it has no corners, really only 2 corners.
Late again... but here's Numbers 16 for today. https://new.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Numbers+16&version=NIV
Interesting.
At first that bothers me, because it's like God's being so mean and so nasty and so picky. But really, it makes sense. Didn't God tell Moses that no one could see His face and live? As I thought about it, I found myself in awe of the glory of God... He is so great that sinful men... even the holiest... could not stand before Him, in His presence.
