CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I wonder if there was the equivalent of Excedrin for Moses, cuz he sure must'a gotten some kinda' headaches from da Israelites....
they're remindin' me of that verse in James that speaks of double minded-ness

a little confusing here with verses 20 and 22.....God tells Balaam to go with these men and then God's anger is kindled because Balaam goes with the men.
Interesting too, where Balaam's donkey actually speaks and the Angel of the Lord was blocking Balaam's path...and it's phenomenal that Balaam's donkey saved Balaam's like cuz the Angel of the Lord was surely goin' to slay him....

Again, you went to the heart of the message brinny! This helped me to understand why God was displeased. It was what was in his heart but read it's a good read. I really enjoy Pastor David's commentaries.

I have a saying I use "I'd rather hear the ugly truth to a pretty lie". Seems to me Balak wanted to hear a pretty lie - The devil tells pretty lies, what we want to hear. The Lord tells the sometimes ugly truth but it's always the truth.
I wonder if Balak will wise up?!
