That would be a Calvinist who isn't considered a very good one. Sub-par.

Per this chart, I fall between high & moderate - hold to limited atonement, believe in particular grace (God's special providence) ...........Infralapsarian in viewing God’s decrees. Affirms Common Grace (God's ordinary work of providence).

I like the term Particular Baptist or predestinarian over the term "Calvinist."

except for "God can't have what he wants " ..... one may experience emotional turmoil and still be sovereign

I'm in between Moderate and High. Despite the number of folks who are sure that I am the root of all evil here....it was from them that I found out that I rule the soteriology forum, and have mods at my beck and call...it was from them that I found out how horrible a person I am, and how I have caused people all over the world to stumble and experience emotional distress, simply by my presence here...

What's a fella to do? Oh, but I did discover who 2thePoint was/is....

Such is the lot of those who vocally stand up for the Truth. Apparently I've become some sort of lightning rod. I didn't set out to be that, but it seems that I have become that. All I can say is, God's Grace is sufficient.

I guess twin and I are the only ultras on this forum, it's not so lonely at the top (of the chart) with twin sittin' with me.

This poll was posted on the Puritan Board a few years aback (PB it's a confessional Reformed forum) and almost 56% landed in the high Calvinist bracket. Just less then 6% were ultras, 34% were moderate. I was kind of shocked at how many were high Calvinists considering moderates normally define high Calvinism as hyper Calvinism.

I may be more in the ultra bracket as well anymore. But I'm wrestling with the "any kind of love" idea. I do deny the well meant offer. The offer simply is not for the reprobate at all in my view. I believe God has no familial love for the reprobate, but I still think he has some kind of affection for all of his creation as everything does serve an ultimate good purpose and he makes the sun to shine on everyone for a time. So even the worst reprobate has had some type of blessing regardless of how temporal it might be. I just don't know if it can be defined as a type of love or not. So, that's why I selected the High Calvinist option as opposed to the Ultra High option right now.
