Hosea 6:1-3 Come: Let us return to the Lord, He has punished us1 but He will restore us. After two days He will revive us2, on the third day He will raise us up and we will live in His presence3. Let us strive to know the Lord, whose coming is as sure as the sunrise. His coming will refresh us like the spring rains.

Hosea 6:4-11 How shall the Lord deal with His people? Their loyalty is like the morning mist, that is why His prophets castigate them and His Word indicts them. Their God requires loyalty, not sacrifices, belief and trust in Him rather than offerings. But they have transgressed the Covenant and brought defilement upon themselves. The House of Israel has prostituted itself and for Judah too, a harvest of reckoning will come4.

Hosea 7:1-2 & 13-16 When the Lord decides to restore the fortunes of His people6, their guilt will stand revealed. He constantly watches5, they are unaware that He has kept account of their misdeeds and faithlessness. Disaster will strike4 them for their rebellion, even though He desires to deliver them, but their false beliefs and insincere worship indicts them. Their leaders will be killed for speaking falsely, foreigners will deride them for their foolishness. Ref:REB Abridged

What happened to 721 BC? The generally accepted timing of the Assyrian captivity of the northern tribes is somewhere between 722-720 BC.

The Northern ten tribes of the House of Israel, were conquered by king Shalmaneser of Assyria in circa 722/720 BC. But it wasn't until Sargon 2 became King of Assyria, that Israel were deported, over a period of time, possibly as late as 712 BC for the final group.
John Bright, in his 'History of Israel', says the main lot were taken to the Caucasus region in north Assyria, in 715 BC.
They did not stay there permanently and we know the Galatians, of central Turkey, were Israelites.
They left 'waymarks', Jeremiah 31:21; across Europe and those cairns or dolmens are still there today.

Thread diversions are the norm on most forums. That is how it is, get over it.
It can be frustrating, but can also lead on to very good discussions.

You have yet to even acknowledge my post #43
I do not make opinions in it, but use 47 Bible scriptures. We are in general agreement.
You say I should "get over it". That's a pretty disrespectful response. It's pretty disrespectful in general to not keep to the forum subject. If a different related topic needs to be addressed, then it should be in a new thread for that topic. That's how respectful forum members behave.

As to not acknowledging your post, this thread is mostly full of people who want to mock instead of actually verify information for themselves. Your #43 post looked interesting but it is not formatting in a very friendly and easy to read way. If you could provide an easier to read post, I'd gladly review.

The world is full of 'experts' on God's word. Like grains of sand on a beach. Interpretation, interpretation, interpretation..... Everyone has one!

Yes, but prophecy can have only one answer. How will you recognize when someone figures it out if all you do is mock them and don't investigate for yourself?
