The FBI says that was not of Trump.
Texans are independent. Texas once belonged to Mexico, and at great cost fought and defeated the Mexican army to gain independence and sovereignty.
In April 1830, wary of the rapidly swelling deluge of immigrants from the United States, the Mexican government legislated against further settlement in Coahuila and Texas by Anglo-Americans and reimposed the suspended tariff. Over roughly the next two years, conflict arose in the area near modern-day Houston between Texans and a group composed of officials of the Mexican government and the small military force sent there to enforce the tariff as well as prevent smuggling and Anglo-American immigration.
Texas did not exercise its reserved sovereign right to secede from the union. The Confederacy seceded from the union, and there was no "being allowed back" into the Union, there was only compulsory submission to the Union.
Texas still has the right to secede.
Why are you trying to making excuses for people ,that don't care at all for you?Little short on tolerance and long on self-righteousness.
Not hard to see what they want to get away from.
So where's the virtue in refraining from using power wherever one can find it?

Not even close: The Coldest Night in TexasYou hear right. . .you can get a tan just from the heat radiating off a parking lot.
And they should have been prepared for temperatures never seen in Texas since record keeping was started?
I think a lot of people miss this point. If say texas were to secede unilaterally, it would be immediately invaded by the US, as they would have taken US land. Texas has a reputation for being tough, but I doubt that would go very well for them. Also, they don't have the right to the secede.
Do we also mention the part where Mexico had recently banned slavery to the strong opposition of many prominent Texans too, or is that one of those things we're not supposed to mention?
And you know this, how?
It's about in the time of emergency, Texans would have to ration for the sake of those who don't want to spend the money or do the nasty job of developing their own power. No, you are in error.
You are seriously ignorant about how it works. It's about in the time of emergency, Texans would have to do without for the sake of those who don't want to spend the money or do the nasty job of developing their own power.
