i'm not grreat today am stressed and tired on top of everything else. i had to tell the youth pastor at my church about the CRB issue (i help with loads of the youthwork stuff!)) i was dreading it soo much. he was ok with it but yeah its going to cause problems i kno it is. i had to tell him because yesterday i was helping take a group of our young people to Alton Towers (a theme park) and a concert which was being held there later on in the evening so he had to be aware of the situation. he has no problems with me working with them because its never ever been an issue with them. but yeah i had a good day, the kids enjoyed it. i tried to keep things together and it worked until towards the end of the concert and soemone started talking about soemthing (on of the band i think it was.) it got to me a little bit. i'd struggled a lot friday night and i didnt manage not to do antyhing so tha was pretty sore yesterday. and todays not going too well either. how is it i can shut myself off for things like yesterday yet wen i need to to do i other mportant things i cant!!! (not that yesterday wasnt important)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ari It's not stupid... it's not a wise move but it is anything but stupid... I understand completely... and I am sure that everyone else on here does too. I wish that you and Bec could get rid of them safely... but... please please be careful.

I am sorting through something that my T told me at my last appointment... that I shouldn't work the job that I've dreamt of, bc it would trigger me beyond belief and possibly/probably cause a relapse, even if I think I'm over the symptoms that the job could trigger. So that is not working for me... on top of the paranoid thoughts, that is not working. They are out to get me - my treatment team I mean - and this just goes to show it. (I am slowly connecting the dots.)

And I am going to have to face psychotic thoughts at my next T and psych appointments... my AP isn't working properly and so will probably have to get the dosage upped or switch to a new med... and my parents will have to know why. (Drat still living with them...)

Ok, so now we have to have our posts approved by a mod before they show?? Grr..that's one of the reasons I left another board. I can't stand the whole babysitting aspect!! So....who knows if this post will even be released!!

April the CRB Check its basically the criminal records check that has to be done. and its coem up that i'm a risk, but there are criminal offences or anything its somthing that has coem directly from the lancashire contstabulary (the local police department) but there is no evidence or non that i know of that will bck it up so i dont have a clue where its come from. i havent heard anything from the uni about it today so will have to wait i have to go in tomorrow to sort out an authorised absence for my operation on wednesday. i love working with the youth in all the places that i do it but that may stop if i cant fight this. erm i'm not great at the minute at all, and yeah have not been too wise either and theres no one around for me to talk to. my CPN is of for another week theres the duty team but then theyll all just panick so i dont want to bother them all. the lats sentence on my last post i meant i was able to switch of on saturday while i was out with the youth group, but i cant switch of for thing i really realy need to do that are more important. but then i wanted to say that going outn with the youth on staurday was important too, but it made it sound like it wasnt.

i really want to curl up and hide right now

Katey So you don't know how it's come up that you're a risk? that sounds really peculiar to me... hopefully it straightens itself out without being too much of a pain in the butt. Hang in there, love, and remember that we're here for you. Do "bother" people if you feel that you are a danger to yourself... you need to take care of yourself... and it's not really bothering if you truly need the help, care, and attention.

Apparently it's just me. I keep getting this message any time I post that says it won't be released until it's approved by a mod. I thought they had changed this board to be like that, but I guess it's a random error. So, I have to log out to see my posts which is super annoying. Someone's looking into it though.

April this will be my first non-4.0 semester, too since coming back to college and I don't have to tell you how disappointed I am about that! The worst part is that it was for that stupid little 8 week course that turns out is completely unnecessary anyway for my program that was my downfall! Gah! I just wanted to be perfect.

Katey, you're just fine. We have a "No apologies for venting" rule around here, so let it out!!

its to do with my mental health apparently. i knew that it would come up with all the contact that i have had with police but its never been an issue that i'm a risk, never!

i wish it would straighten itself up, however its going to cause a fair few problems. and not just with uni either. i'm trying so much to not let it get to me but it is getting to me a lot!!! i dont feel worth being botherd about though so i wont ask for help. so then i dont need it do i!

Kerin I know... I just want to be perfect too... and I think that goes for all of us here, in our own ways. We all want to be perfect. This is my first non-4.0 semester since fall 2005 (spring 2006 would've been a non-4.0 except I got a medical withdrawal that term)... so it stings. Especially since my best friend got one, with really hard courses, and I got screwed by a stupid course that I don't technically need to graduate (a class in my minor... the principles of food science one that I mentioned earlier). ARGH!!

And I hope that error message fixes itself! bc that would definitely worry me too. I think as long as we are careful the mods won't go to the trouble of having to moderate our posts in here... the SI forums are more touchy that way. Here as long as we stay away from triggering numbers/tips, we should be good, right?

Katey That is weird... I mean, contact with police is one thing, especially if it's necessary for your health, but being a risk? I think that's just silly. :-( What kind of problems is it going to cause? you being with the youth?

yeah i understand why they hate to put in being in contact with police that wasnt a problem, i old them about that and that was all for my own safety i've never been a danger to anyone else. its never been an issue.

It will stop me working with them because it says that i'm a risk to them. apparently because of my mental health but i dont know where its coem from. i do a lot of youth work and working with children so its going to cause problems within those things i do. and then on my course i'd be working with vulnerable adults and then yuong people as thats the age group i wanted to work with when i qualified.

Ouch. Are you going to be able to discuss this type of thing with anyone, your team, anyone who could make it at all better? It doesn't make much sense that you'd be a danger to children, really... you may not be stable enough yet to work with them fulltime... but I don't see why you'd be a risk.

What's this about an operation on Wednesday? and how is uni going?

Bec - how are you? are you ok? there are some posts from you from a couple of days ago (on the last page) that have only just shown up.
