Employees do the real work, investors do nothing concrete.

I think you misunderstood my post. Or else I am misunderstanding what you are trying to say.
I am against the "profit above all" point of view that I described. (But most mainline economists seem to be for it.)

Employees do the real work, investors do nothing concrete.

Both are important. The difference; sink or swim, the employee gets paid regardless if the company sinks or not; the investor does not. In order for a company to attract investors, they have to provide a reasonable rate of return. In order for the company to attract good employees, they have to provide a decent wage and working conditions. When those two clash, it is the company that decides which is more important.
