Been sick the last few days. Didn't get to the voice, really, until after liturgy, which was good. Though it's lowered the voice a bit, I'm still 20 cents above G at the low end. at liturgy, they installed the parish counciil. I was triied and convicted of being the president.

Wow ... I think I am going to swear off GT myself. Maybe at least for a while.

Got some minor home issues, this is my first week of only having ONE Divine Liturgy to attend (Can I blame it on that? I think the Eucharist has been VERY helpful to me with these so-many liturgies nearly every week up till now!), the dog tore up the screen door, and I just can't seem to get motivated to put up my Christmas tree ...

So maybe it's me. But it seems like GT exploded, LOL. I've felt more frustration than normal today. I think this is not good for my spiritual well-being.

oh Kylissa - GT [ aka GH ] is never good for anyone's health - blood pressure can be affected , frustration is never good for you and during the Fast times it's intensified .

I'm still kinda shaking my head. Maybe I shouldn't have said anything, but someone posted The Ladder of Divine Ascent and seemed to be saying the EO Church recognized that men and angels were the same class of beings or men became angels when they died. I gave links and said briefly what the icon actually represented. It went back and forth quite a bit and when it went from the EO don't know what their own icons represent to the implication that if we do, we're preaching another Gospel - I just bowed out at that point. What do you do with that? I just didn't want it said that The Ladder's purpose was that men became angels when they died.

I spluttered and asked where he got it from - the answer was where he gets his beer [ been there ] then said he <<Gift pack comes with a menorah.>>

I told him he was kidding me and got the answer << It's true, and the brewer is the Schmaltz Brewery of Brooklyn >>
