Easy way to deal with that

I've been told cat's instinctivly protect thier bellies no matter what since it's the most sensitive part of their body. My cat at home will roll over on its back like it wants to be petted, then swat you if you do. From what I understand, a cat will roll over and expose it's tummy when it feels safe, but that isn't an invite to touch it!

I just poured a glass of the IPA that I brewed in August and have spent the past 2 months fermenting and then bottling and it is good stuff! Very delicious beer!

It is great stuff, about 8 or 9% alcohol, not too alcoholic in taste, a bit of sweetness in the taste due to the TON of malt I put in it. It is so good my wife, who does not like India Pale Ales at all, actually likes it!

The IPA almost tastes like Dogfishhead 90 Minute IPA, but Mrs. G says this beer does not have the "chemical" taste she normally associates with India Pale Ales.

I put in alot more hops than normal for an IPA, and then more than doubled the malt as well. The extra malt will do 2 things, it will be eaten by the yeast to make alcohol and if there is enough there to actually counter the bitterness of the hops added it will add a hint of sweetness to the beer. Usually IPA's are very, very bitter beers from the extreme ammount of hops used to make them. This bitterness is the "chemical quality" which my wife says she tastes in an IPA.

The beer I am going to brew tomorrow is a stoudt with strong coffee and chocolate in it. That should be VERY tasty!

There was a news article not too long ago that mentioned a way to help the cat and lessen allergies to cat dander.

Take a wash cloth and put a little warm water on it so that it is damp. Squeeze out any excess water and then pet the cat with it. Do this every day. Not only does the wash cloth collect the extra hair, it lessens the production of the antigen that causes allergies. The cat is happier because you are cleaning it, and you can breathe easier too.

IPA's are good, but I prefer a Heffenweisen or Whit bier to an IPA. Belgian bier, of course, being my favorite.

I brewed a Heffeweizen in July, it is very tasty. I was trying to make a clone of Paulaner Heffeweizen but it came out tasting more like Franziskaner or Weihenstephaner.

My wifes favorite beer is my Dopplebock. She likes dark, heavy beers that are not bitter much better than the bitter IPAs that I love.

This evening I am going to brew a Coffee Chocolate Stoudt. YUM!

As for favorite beer it was once German beer. I know I will sound like a heretic saying this, being I love all things German, but there are some American Micro Breweries that are making stuff that really rivals what the Germans make. If I could only drink one beer for the rest of my life I would make it Dogfishhead.
