Hi everybody :) Looks like my dirty laundry is out for all to see. That's fun. Was a boring day at work, but it's about to rain now...so that's something.

Dirty Laundry...another great song...Don Henley...good stuff...

don't be embarrassed...I've gone through something similar that was put out on-line before...it's ok...I'll be praying for BOTH of you...

Yes, rain's good. I love your sig:

"So He would disappear, then return. He would hide, then appear. But I never turned back. I never became completely cast down. I never gave up the chase. I never took Him to be one who would deceive or someone who was thoroughly testing me but with all my strength, with all my power, when I did not see Him, I sought Him."

~ St Symeon the New Theologian, Hymn 29

I'm looking forward to reading more from him.

You should be ashamed of yourself. I have known Heather for over 2 years and have yet to meet a single person on TAW or CF for that matter who can say a single bad thing against her! Your posting her dirty laundry is an abomination and a slander against her good name and you are much less of a man for it. My post of Tom Petty's song is good advice for you: Whatever you're looking for, don't come arround here no more!

I was smoking something really good last night and agreed to go in to work from 7p - 7a tonight/tomorrow! My first 2 day weekend in about 3 weeks and I agreed to work. I guess I was being greedy! :( No watching the Steelers play for me tonight! :( Do you feel like working for me tonight?

At the risk of sounding repetitive, also been there done that. :( It hurts to have one's trust violated, but what's a road without a few curves and hills?

I love St Symeon. There's a book called Hymns of Divine Love (or smth like that) that is a collection of his writing. Words are insufficient.

I am going to be a zombie at Divine Liturgy in the morning! I guess it is time for me to do some serious bonding with my old friend "Red Bull"!

I've been to Paris, Tx too! It was a let down, I don't mind saying. Haven't been to the others.

But the monastery is in Kendalia, just north of S.A. My boys spent a few days there with their Church School teacher, and then the rest of us went for a Compline service, then a Liturgy the next am. It is very beautiful there. They just completed a very ornate Church building - marble floors, huge, swinging, candled chandelier, and intricate wood carvings. The monks are very serenely yet lightly joyful. But the service is all in Greek, so I had to watch the segregated extremely modest head-covered ladies to know when to cross myself and bow. But I did recognize the Lord have mercy's.

The boys had a bit better time than I did as they got to eat and talk to the monks. Dinner was even segregated, and I had to leave afterward to stay in a hotel, though if I'd hung around, the monks did mix with the ladies a bit on the porch of the dining hall. The guest house is just for men.

Unlike the OCA monastery I went to last week north of Sante Fe - the guesthouse was luxuriously family friendly and the atmosphere was more laid back.

But still, the atmosphere in Kendalia was well-worth absorbing.

I'm not totally sold on the hair (it looks like my hair when it's wet) but I like this armor. You can't see it under the dress, but I'm wearing Klingon boots. Qapla'!

Dear Mad Repper,

How you have known Heather for 2 years in an online forum as opposed to her own fiancee who has spent every day talking with her and being with her, is rather laughable. It's really easy to portray oneself online in a favorable light. Please remember that Heather is no more a victim than I.

I do regret posting the specifics that I did; I have since edited the post to remove that information. What I do not regret is defending myself or keeping Photini honest viz-a-viz our relationship and the propriety of airing personal affairs online.

She has done it more than once (3 times now) since we've had relationship problems. I have never had to deal with this issue before in my life. Maybe you could also remind Heather not to repeatedly bring our privaate affairs into a public forum? Are you ashamed of her as well?

Now, I don't expect any sympathy from any of you, or understanding of my perspective. I fully understand that your loyalties lie with the one with whom you have been chatting online lo these many years. I don't blame you.

Heather is a wonderful girl with many great qualities, and I will miss her terrribly. But, I will not allow my name to be sullied publically. If this is unChristian or unOrthodox of me, then I will discover that soon enough with my spiritual father.

As for those who are praying for me, I very much appreciate it. I can use all the prayer I can get.

Michael
