Spiritual amnesia and then some

Hi, I'm looking for a Christian community for support and I'm hoping I've come to the right place I have walked away from my beliefs for several years and just this past year restarted attending church which is a weekly challenge because I struggle with what I call spiritual amnesia. Along with that nothing sinks in or makes sense and it is a difficult place to be in. also I fight with skepticism and never ever believed God loved or loves me....so yes I'm a mess and need listening ears and questions answered

Welcome! I also walked away from God (for over 30 years), though never stopped believing. I do have a hard time understanding that he loves me even when I really don't like myself one bit. For me it helps to hang out with believers as much as possible. I do anything that I can at my church and join as many Bible studies as possible. I feel that I need this fellowship to help keep me focused on my Heavenly Father and to keep me from wandering off on my own again.
