    Thank God that He intervened and granted you the clarity to see clearly. That must've been against tremendous odds.

    Yes, the abuse of narcotics is sorcery.
    It is also sorcery to use things like a Ouija board to attempt to contact the spirit world. Having a seance is sorcery. Taking hallucinogens is sorcery. All of these leave the spirit exposed to demonic influences.

    Tremendous pressure spiritually and from pastors to compromise under the guise of changing the system from within. But when you study Jezebel, she must be thrown to the dogs and will not step down willingly.

    God is GOOD. He got you through that web of a quagmire.

    Interestingly enough David Wilkerson also has a sermon on the Jezebel Spirit in the church.

    Yes, it was judgment when she was pushed out of the tower, hitting the ground, and the dogs eating her, just as it was said it would happen.

    This isn't necessarily the Biblical terms used, but here is some info and Bible verses on black magic:
    Black magic, sorcery, witchcraft, divination, voodoo, occult, curse, hex, necromancy, spells, incantations, hoodoo, wizardry, jinx, conjuring, satanism. Magic or sorcery is the use of rituals, symbols, actions, gestures, and langage with the aim of exploiting supernatural forces. A supernatural intervention from the Devil or demons, or an attempt to conjure such. An evil spiritual occurrence or ritual, the opposite of miracles which are good supernatural events caused by God.

    Maleficium is a Latin term meaning "wrongdoing" or "mischief", and describes malevolent, dangerous, or harmful magic, "evildoing", or "malevolent sorcery". In general, the term applies to any magical act intended to cause harm or death to people or property. Maleficium can involve the act of poisoning or drugging someone.

    Verses that have to do with Maleficium or Miracles:

And he said, “Divine for me by a spirit and bring up for me whomever I shall name to you.” The woman said to him, “Surely thou know what Saul has done, how he has cut off the mediums and the necromancers from the land. Even Simon himself believed, and after being baptized he continued with Philip. And seeing signs and great miracles performed, he was amazed. ...

    Now there art varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit; and there art varieties of service, but the same Lord; and there art varieties of activities, but it is the same God who empowers them all in everyone.

    1 Corinthians 12:7

    To each is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good.

    1 Corinthians 12:7-11

    Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good. 1 Corinthians 13:8

    Love never ends. As for prophecies, they will pass away; as for tongues, they will cease; as for knowledge, it will pass away.

    Ironically the vast majority of those executed by the church for practicing witchcraft were doing nothing of the sort.

    In 1 Samuel 28, Saul was disturbed by a large army encampment threatening him. Samuel was dead. Saul could not get counsel from Yahweh or the prophets. He sought a woman sorceress who pretended to summon the spirit of the dead Samuel.

    I suppose the closest thing to a sorcerer today are astrologers, psychics, palm readers, fortune tellers, etc. These are usually frauds. Sometimes they guess right or recite some clever saying.

    There was much mythology throughout Biblical times. People prayed to gods and goddeses of mythology. They offered prayers and sacrifices in vain. Priests of false religion claimed to serve powerful gods who could help people.

    I would suggest that you read The Witch Hunts: A History of the Witch Persecutions in Europe and North America by Robert Thurston or The Oxford Handbook of Witchcraft in Early Modern Europe and Colonial America edited by Brian P. Levack.

    A driving force behind the witchcraft trials in Europe was the Black Death which killed a large percentage of the European population. Many Christians believed that it had been caused by evil forces.

    The most famous, though by no means the only, witchcraft trials in America were those at Salem. The church, the state legislature, one of the original accusers and several of those who served on the jury later apologized for what was done. If the 24 victims were witches, why would those apologies have been issued?

    I have spoken on the subject several times around the US, and will be speaking in Salem in November.

    Thank you, I will check those out.
    Salem was a sad case. But do we have any evidence that the majority of witch trials were against innocent people? I have no doubt many were-but then witchcraft really was a problem then.

    in short, according to the biblical terminology, "sorcery" is how to get the "stars" to work the way we want through an occult/heretical/idolatrous method, and the "stars" are in essence unsouled spirits, each of which has a distinctive nature/character; for example, homosexuality is also a product of sorcery - certain "stars" are set to cause homosexual feelings, attraction, arousal and demeanor in certain people...

    Well honestly, from my understanding and how it has been explained to me, addiction is a physical disease as in a medical condition. That is why medical insurance companies agree to pay for the treatment of it. Insurance companies will not pay for any condition that cannot be proven to be a physical affliction.

    In everyone's brain there is something called "The Reward Center" technically this is the ventral tegmental area (VTA), the nucleus accumbens, and the prefrontal cortex together. This system was put in our brain by our creator so that we may survive as a people. In essence it is the reason why food tastes good and why sex feels good. So that we will like it and eat and make babies to keep our generations surviving. when you eat, the VTA produces dopamine and this chemical is pleasurable to the brain. This triggers the nucleus acumen to release serotonin and dopamine which is pleasurable and motivational, the nucleus acumen connects to and stimulates the prefrontal cortex which is where the brain does things like planning, making plans etc.

    So that is a very complicated way of saying, you eat something,it tastes good, that gives you feel good chemicals in your brain which trigger you to plan to eat that same thing again. Like I say this is for our survival so your brain plans to eat again beacuse you need to eat again.

    When you introduce a recreational drug, this same system gets set off. You do it, it feels good, your brain plans to do it again. What happens with addiction is this system goes into overdrive and it gets broken and stuck on the "plans to do it again" stimulation in the prefrontal cortex so you get less and less feel good chemicals and more and more "plan to do it again stimulation" and this drive will overtake all other things that you used to have in your prefrontal cortex that you used to do like eat, sleep etc. I have seen brain scans where they show that area of the brain brightly lit up when the drug is mentioned lit u brighter than any other part of the brain.

    So all that was not in response to you specifically, you didn't ask all that but for everybody else reading, that's why pharmakeia is sorcery. Because of the physical damage it does to your body mind and spirit. In my personal experience the only solution I have found or seen has been a spiritual one. God, prayer, and very importantly fellowship/relationships with people who care will actually activate that reward center again with something new and Holy. A person can have a physical change haooen in their brain where they will begin to crave God and fellowship instead of that drug but it takes work and people who care. AA has a God component and others just get transformed through their church but they have a supernatural transformation in their physical body that the medical community will recognize by saying it is in remission. Even Drs totally based in science say there is something about it that works. The first two people of AA one of them was a Dr and they were both Agnostic and borderline Atheist but by the time they figured out how to do the program they said it can't be done without a higher power now ain't that something?

    Now I wrote too much, nobody is going to read all this. They just skip right on past it! :preach:

    A deamon is a background process that evokes a spirit (motivating principle, emotion, or personality) when certain conditions are met (physical or mental). If I call you "names" and you become "offended", I have successfully cast a spell on you and manipulated your spirits. This is why things like 'cursing' and even giving people 'dirty looks' (the evil eye) was for thousands of years considered witchcraft. Sorcery, witchcraft, and ritual magic are part of our everyday lives today.

    Now, there are very real and true spiritual enemies whom most Christians completely ignore and have no understanding of and don't care to. There are very powerful sorcerers and magicians still working today. The city of Washington DC was designed by Rosicrucians using "Enochain" and "Solomonic" magic. The Pentagon for instance is actually a Temple of Mars and built to gain his blessing in warfare—the easiest things to see from the sky is the great pentacle meant to draw in spiritual power into the various "ministries" of government as well as a great hexagram which is the symbol of Saturn (the occult/kabbalistic god) and represents "heaven on earth"... The structures of governments themselves represent man attempting to create the perfect structures of the [spiritual] heavens here on earth—Democracy is a manifestation of Panentheism (all is god) which was the goal of the "Enlightened" U.S. and French Freemasons and Rosicrucians who formented the French and American Revolutions to create their Rosicrucian "New Jerusalem"...

    Don't even get me in to how corporations like your 501c3 churches are actually idols created through witchcraft (legal proceedings) that replace Jesus Christ as the head of your organization. Pastors preach not to swear oaths while they turn around and sign legally binding papers that place the local or federal principality as the de facto authority that grants the organization it's right to exist which is completely opposite of what the Bible teaches—it's as if they don't believe that God has authority and power—but they want His blessing lol.

    Every time you go into Walmart and exchange the fruits of your labor with a being that has no body, no soul, cannot speak, cannot eat, yet claims ownership of the life-giving necessities that you require, you are in effect trading with what magicians call a "godform" or "egregore" and you are worshiping it by simply recognizing it's existence and it's claimed authority—that god/demon then uses it's funds to influence the laws of the land that you live under and must obey. The everyday things you do in this world have real spiritual "meaning" and God is watching... The Babylonians, the Egyptians, the Greeks, the Romans, all their 'sorceries' pale in comparison to what we have going on here today. The ultimate 'spell' is to get everyone to follow and practice a religion without them even knowing it! Ya, you can be a Christian, as long as the 'state' is Supreme and you recognize all these 'other gods' too... The early Christians were martyred in droves because they would not recognize the Emperor as the supreme authority on earth yet most of us bow down to these "principalities" or "watchers" on a daily basis.

    From Wikipedia:
    Egregore (also egregor) is an occult concept representing a "thoughtform" or "collective group mind", an autonomous psychic entity made up of, and influencing, the thoughts of a group of people. The symbiotic relationship between an egregore and its group has been compared to the more recent, non-occult concepts of the corporation (as a legal entity) and the meme.

    Eliphas Lévi, in Le Grand Arcane ("The Great Mystery", 1868) identifies "egregors" with the tradition concerning the "Watchers", the fathers of the nephilim, describing them as "terrible beings" that "crush us without pity because they are unaware of our existence."[2]

    The concept of the egregore as a group thoughtform was developed in works of the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn and the Rosicrucians[3] and has been referenced by writers such as Valentin Tomberg.

    And from the Rosicrucian Archive:
    Here we come to the end of our search. According to Gesenius:

    [IMG] (he writes ir, not er) = "n. m. waking, or wakeful one, i.e. angel."

    The root of the word is Syrian, in Hebrew it would be "er", plural form "irin" (Daniel, 4:10, etc.). Gesenius then continues: "c.f. Charles - Enoch..."

    Thus, the mystery is solved. An egregor is an angel, sometimes called watcher; in Hebrew the word is ir, and the concept appears in The Book of Enoch, edited by Charles (that would be 1 Enoch).

    [IMG] - also means city. (In modern Hebrew, ir - city; arim - cities).

    Why don't we do as God says in Isaiah 61:1-11
    Isaiah 61New King James Version (NKJV)
    The Good News of Salvation
    61 “The Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me,
    Because the Lord has anointed Me
    To preach good tidings to the poor;
    He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted,
    To proclaim liberty to the captives,
    And the opening of the prison to those who are bound;
    2 To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord,
    And the day of vengeance of our God;
    To comfort all who mourn,
    3 To console those who mourn in Zion,
    To give them beauty for ashes,
    The oil of joy for mourning,
    The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness;
    That they may be called trees of righteousness,
    The planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.”

    4 And they shall rebuild the old ruins,
    They shall raise up the former desolations,
    And they shall repair the ruined cities,
    The desolations of many generations.
    5 Strangers shall stand and feed your flocks,
    And the sons of the foreigner
    Shall be your plowmen and your vinedressers.
    6 But you shall be named the priests of the Lord,
    They shall call you the servants of our God.
    You shall eat the riches of the Gentiles,
    And in their glory you shall boast.
    7 Instead of your shame you shall have double honor,
    And instead of confusion they shall rejoice in their portion.
    Therefore in their land they shall possess double;
    Everlasting joy shall be theirs.

    8 “For I, the Lord, love justice;
    I hate robbery for burnt offering;
    I will direct their work in truth,
    And will make with them an everlasting covenant.
    9 Their descendants shall be known among the Gentiles,
    And their offspring among the people.
    All who see them shall acknowledge them,
    That they are the posterity whom the Lord has blessed.”

    10 I will greatly rejoice in the Lord,
    My soul shall be joyful in my God;
    For He has clothed me with the garments of salvation,
    He has covered me with the robe of righteousness,
    As a bridegroom decks himself with ornaments,
    And as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.
    11 For as the earth brings forth its bud,
    As the garden causes the things that are sown in it to spring forth,
    So the Lord God will cause righteousness and praise to spring forth before all the nations.

    A lot of people are in captivity, because the preachers are not doing what they are called to do. It's about saving soul for Christ. God don't want any man to perish,
    but to be redeemed.
