  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

A zygote, blastocyst, or young embryo?

What happened to "child in the womb"?

There was never a "child in the womb" in all of human history. To be a child, one must be a person. To be a person, one must be born. It is that simple.

Abortion is only murder in countries that ban it. The United States is not one of them.

If you are totally unwilling to accept these two extremely obvious scientific and legal facts, you don't care about the girls and women carrying them. You want female people to suffer the rest of their lives for no good reason despite the fact that is 100% unbiblical.

Does your rant also include the countries that ban it?

Hey, I was just answering your question. Christians seem to think people are born bad. That makes no sense to me. But if you honestly think all humans are bad why do you want more of them?

Christians think no babies are born bad. The problem is conservative Christians only care about human lives before birth, when all humans are obviously incapable of sinning, and do not want to understand it is possible to be neither guilty nor innocent. They just want the human to be born at all costs no matter what. Those are the bad humans - the ones who only care about the fact a zygote became a baby who took the first breath of life. Not the unborn human beings who never should have been conceived in the first place.

Science and law?

Just so you know, we're trying to get abortions LEGALLY banned.

You know? against the law to have one?

Then where will that leave your science?

All alone.

And all those doctors who took the Hippocritc Oath can get back to their idolatrous Hippocratic Oath.

Legally banning abortion is impossible. The U.S. Constitution gives all pregnant people the right to have an abortion and explicitly prevents all unborn human beings from having any rights at all, including the right to life. Everyone who graduated from a high school knows that.

All you want is more women and children suffering. That is the only possible reason to want to ban abortion because every fact supports permitting it. Only opinions and emotions that totally contradict Jesus come into play when people oppose abortion.

Legally banning abortion is impossible.

Tell that to:

Andorra, Aruba, Curacao territory, Dominican Republic, Laos, El Salvador, Haiti, Honduras, Iraq, Jamaica, Palestine, Madagascar, Malta, Mauritania, Nicaragua, Palau, Suriname, the Philippines, the Republic of the Congo, San Marino, Senegal, Sierra Leone, and Tonga.

The U.S. Constitution gives all pregnant people the right to have an abortion and explicitly prevents all unborn human beings from having any rights at all, including the right to life. Everyone who graduated from a high school knows that.

Enlighten me please.

All you want is more women and children suffering.

Along with Andorra, Aruba, Curacao territory, Dominican Republic, Laos, El Salvador, Haiti, Honduras, Iraq, Jamaica, Palestine, Madagascar, Malta, Mauritania, Nicaragua, Palau, Suriname, the Philippines, the Republic of the Congo, San Marino, Senegal, Sierra Leone, and Tonga?

You believe in afterlife consequences

Afterlife consequences are real, but abortion does not cause anyone to go to hell. The woman was already doomed to go to hell when she committed her first sin, barring a decision to believe in the Trinity, accept Jesus as her King and Savior, and love God for who He is.

You really should not proclaim this

Everyone commits the first sin before becoming fertile, so it makes no difference. The first sin is all it takes to go to hell if you do not believe Jesus is God, and that sin is never abortion because of timing and human nature.

Why did you totally ignore this fact?

You mean you were born on earth rather than heaven

When I die, I will go to heaven because I have the prerequisite beliefs and love for God to be identified as a Christian. When you die, if your mind did not change to meet those requirements, you will go to hell because becoming a Christian is the only Way for anyone to avoid enteral torture, excruciating pain, and other suffering there. It has been well-known for a long time that the "lake of fire" described in Revelation refers to being in extremely hot liquid rock below Earth's surface, since everyone knows water burns out fire so we can only interpret it as a metaphor.

I guarantee you would rather live in heaven after your death. That area has no bad people or pain. Everyone personally meets God up there.

This seems illogical

Choosing love instead of hate is 100% logical.

The problem is most people choose hate instead of love. You do not want to be one of them, but that is what will happen if you continue to be a Buddhist.
