This has nothing to do with creation or evolution.

Sexual differentiation does not occur until a human fetus is 14 weeks old. The reason men have nipples is because men aren't men for the first trimester.

Of course, they remain, are aesthetically pleasing, and sexually stimulating. Sounds like two good reasons to me!

Also, how else would a guy know when it's cold outside?

This post is absolutely titillating, no?

This has EVERYTHING to do with evolution. And your embryology stinks.

Because we evolved them and we can still lactate.
An interesting article.

Strange but True: Males Can Lactate: Scientific American

Why not? Woman has them, why not man?
Do all male animals have nipples?

This is an evidence which shows that evolution is wrong. If man's nipples are useless, they should be gone by now. Did male Neanderthal have larger nipples than ours? Why does a male ape have nipples?

Vestige has only one meaning: An organ whose function is unknown.

A completely useless bodypart is sexually stimelating now huh?

So your god is an Intelligent-and-aesthetically-pleasing-nipple-designer? :)

No scientist would ever make such a claim. With statements like these you only show your lack of knowledge about the subject.
Thank you for trying though.

This post is evidence that you don't understand evolutionary theory.

Response to Washington and LTTF:

Geez. I should have stayed in forums where I'm a reputable expert. Either I'm so far ahead of you guys that it's pointless for me to explain myself, or I'm so far behind that I should just shut up before I put my foot in my mouth.

As I understood it, the difference between creation and evolution was scientifically-unexplainable-present-physiological-conditions versus survival-of-the-fittest.

That human males have nipples which (under duress?) can lactate is neither proof that they inherited them from a previous species that used them on a regular basis and have since fallen into disuse, NOR that God granted to Adam wondrous brown projections of skin with which to seduce his mate.

Please explain to me how nipples could possibly support or disprove any theory of origins.

Saying evolution is wrong because organisms have flaws is just absurd. Evolution actually predicts mistakes happening because it can only work with what's available, it can not start with a blank slate and improve everything from scratch. Furthermore a lot of outside factors like sexual selection, environmental, etc.. can all cause weird things happening, including evolutionary dead ends.

Just because something is best selected for it's environment, doesn't equal it being perfect.

From Human Origins 101, by Holly M. Dunsworth. p. 21.

"Nipples on male mammals are not vestigial traits, as they do not signal an ancient state of male milk production. Male nipples are simply the result of an interesting developmental process. All humans begin development as a female and not until about the seventh week does an embryo with a Y chromosome start developing as a male. This transition occurs after the development of the mammary glands underneath it. Male nipples are simply stamps in the mammalian passport of development."
