You are groping for an excuse to maintain status quo and blame victims. It's interesting to watch. You may not know, but were they LOOKING for that particular type of car?

You either pay the ticket or challenge but EVERYONE has the RIGHT to do the latter. No, I have not as I neither drive nor will ever be able to drive for various reasons other than a seat belt it would be hard to get a traffic ticket. It happens in court all the time...over and over and over again. Have you gone through the court system for challenging a ticket? Do you have a couple days to take off everytime it happens? How many times would you go through the hassle before you used social media and other avenues to complain?
Finally, very few protests are violent. Inconvenient for people and bothersome? Yes. Violent? Seldom.
If you look like someone they are looking for they can pull you over PROVIDED that once they clear you they let you go.You are groping for an excuse to maintain status quo and blame victims. It's interesting to watch.
Yes, but this leads to silly stops of harassment at times. Stops that are less frequent for a white person. If you look like someone they are looking for they can pull you over PROVIDED that once they clear you they let you go.
Look, I UNDERSTAND it exists, BUT what I do not understand is why EVERY TIME ( seemly) a black gets pulled over or OTHERWISE have to face the music they say it is because they are black. If they feel that way, they have rights just as white people to do to file complains with the people who can do something about it ( whoever that may be) They need to address their own culture as well. I do not know if you have noticed, but black neighborhoods DO tend to have more crime whether it be because they live in more densly populated areas or whatever. I never once said that blacks NEVER fact racism, but they cannot just blame that when they have to face the music.Yes, but this leads to silly stops of harassment at times. I mean, honestly, Philando Castile was pulled over, in the night, because the police officer thought he had a wide nose and thus could be a suspect. Nighttime and a cop sees a wide nose in a different car. Really?
Have you ever been pulled over because you meet a robbery description of a wide nosed white person? What does it take for you to shake your head and call it what it is?

I ALSO did not say that there was NOT racism; frankly there also will be black, white and otherwise, but it seems that SOME blacks feel that every time something happens to them or other blacks that it is racism. Not all blacks feel that way. I lack under a month from being 25. During that time, I have met MANY blacks, I have even employed a black woman the only person I have ever personally employed, by the way. I have respected some of those blacks more than I have respected some whites that I have met. I am NOT saying that racism is not out there. I AM saying that I feel it is blamed for more issues than it deserves to be.They are complaining. You just don't like it. We get that.
Cultural issues exist everywhere. Believe it or not, there is a myriad of cultures among black people, just like white folks. Your one size fits all approach makes me chuckle.
If you stop and listen, the only people making a claim that all black problems stem from racism is from white folks. It's not a narrative held by most black Americans. Black Americans recognize the huge problems in the black community and address these problems, but that doesn't mean you have to be silent regarding racist police procedures, just because other areas are a problem in the community.
Just have the conversation. Don't run from the issue.
I do not know how much true racism occurs I DO know that sometimes it is blamed when it is not the case.Black say racism all the time. No, black people point out racism when it occurs. This thread is filled with victim blaming, I wouldn't be surprised if they tell women they wouldn't get raped if they didn't wear that dress.
Here's a great example of inequity and white privilege.
and when they do you can file a complainent with the department and/or if arrested for no reason get it thrown out of court.
Black Americans recognize the huge problems in the black community and address these problems,................"
Interesting. Now do the same thing in a different location, but have the other guy go first and see what happens.
The reason I say that is because the longer that car sits there with someone who appears like they're trying to break into it the more likely the police will be anonymously notified and take notice.
So if I see a black guy breaking into a car I should assume it belongs to a white friend of his?![]()

What is true racism? There is overt and systemic racism, but I don't think it matters discussing the subject if you don't understand or believe it exists.I do not know how much true racism occurs I DO know that sometimes it is blamed when it is not the case.
If you choose to be confused I can't convince you out of that. I mean, just the two options for your understanding aren't represented in that meme WHATSOEVER. In the interest of not distracting this thread though, I'll leave it at that. IF you would like an explanation, please PM me and I could try.Still trying to wrap my head around that meme?
Is it claiming that knives can cut tomatoes without a person or is it claiming that people don't actually cut tomatoes with knives? So confusing!
They talk about it. They meet within their churches and mosques. They talk with police. They have the conversation.By "addressed" you mean........?
