CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

What I find interesting is how few men have posted here as compared to the women.
I think it goes both ways the older you get. As previously mentioned, you don't need someone perfect, just perfect for you, but it seems that there's less to choose from when you get older.

I know young Christian people who are having a hard time meeting the right one, as well. I believe it's harder for Christians because of the straight and narrow path we want to walk on. Wide is the road that leads to destruction -- many walk that way. The straight and narrow path isn't chosen by many.

I think I scared a few of the men off in the beginning...LOL But, I agree that it goes both ways. I still say my biggest struggle is finding a guy that is in the same place I am kids-wise. Most guys I've met either have no kids (and I'm not sure if I want to have more kids) or they have teenagers and don't want to start all over again with little guys like mine.What I find interesting is how few men have posted here as compared to the women.

But, I think you're smart not to date any of the moms from your team....altho there are probably plenty of other teams to scope out for single moms.

wellllllllllllllll, I say you should not be the one to close doors -- if someone is Christian and single and you are a Christian single then it's a good place to start if you are interested in them no matter how God lets you meet them. Don't close doors yourself. Let God be the one to tell you if a door needs closed.
