Announcements will be made in the respective forums as well but please note that if yours is currently listed as Private, you will need to submit a ticket in the Support Area to have yours changed.

  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Are you suggesting that a righteous person would remain intact in a head-on car wreck, or during an assault with a baseball bet? (Yes or no will suffice)

A righteous man would have angels watching over him. He would have protection. He would remain intact. Of course the question is, just how many people are actually righteous before God.

No - the question I'd like an answer to is the question I asked.
As before, yes or no will suffice.

Then why did Christ's body die? Wasn't he sinless? JohnR7 claims he doesn't know the answer to the first question. Maybe you can take a crack at it.

he gave it up freely

Father into thy hands I commit my spirit.

It is finished!!!

Uh huh... that's one of three differing verses as to his last words. Take your pick... there's no contradictions in the Bible.

This response raises more questions for me than it answers (e.g. spiritual implications of suicide; trinity), but thanks.

of course it is gonna raise more questions for you, it would for anybody, but Jesus is alive and he reigns on high.

Praise the Lord

The eyewitnesses bled? I don't get it. I didn't know the resurrection was eye-witnessed. According to the myth, didn't they put his allegedly dead body in a tomb, and then the tomb was empty? Did anyone see him rise from the dead?

They sealed the testimony for giving their lives willingly for a man they saw rise from the dead, according to scripture 500 people saw him and 100's gave their life for him.

Tell Peter, John, James, Thomas, Matthias, Matthew, Philip, Andrew, that they gave their lives and livelihood for a lie, that they propogated, willingly laying down their lives.

Any extrabiblical evidence for any of this? Or just the usual "la la la la la Bible's always right la la la la la Bible's always right la la..."?

uhhh...

how silly art thou my friend to believe that we don't have extrabiblical evidence, their deaths are recorded and passed down, they gave their lives for Jesus in a hope that in the last days they would be raised with him.
