Most definitely.
Personally I believe Molstead was wrong too. Our pastor gave us pretty much the whole run down on our synod while it was happening. We are blessed with an awesome Pastor who actually takes the time to share events with his congregation so that we are informed and so that we can pray. And he is impartial when he gives it to us as well, so we don't get a slanted view of things.
I missed the last couple of congregational meetings tho so I don't know if there have been any updates or not. Let his family know that there are still people out here praying!
I probably will eventually. I have a few pressing matters at the moment.
As for the actual doctrine and response, that is what I have to read up on. I found the letter submitted to the synod on the internet. Or at least I believe it is unaltered. But to be honest, it is too deep for me to understand reading it online. I need a paper copy and even then I think I will be straining the poor excuse that I pretend is a brain.
The whole reason I brought it up tho is because of the incorrect thought that ELS and WELS are inseparable. We aren't. And these are just two things that have been recent that have almost caused a division between the synods. We are human and for that we constantly need the one to get the other to a table and straighten things out. What a blessing it truly is!
