In the cases where you contend that it is how are you ok with women being allowed to leave the state to do so?
nope. I do believe there needs to be a line as to when it is permitted.

One could argue that until it is viable it is not a "child".
They could, but it comes out a human 100% of the time they let the foetus live. Besides who are we to play God and determine a person should live or die based on viability? Maybe the handicapped are next or the aged.

I happen to be disabled and frankly even if true depending on how they are being treated sometimes death may be preferred.

But it's ok to slaughter the child in the womb?
That would be up to the woman to decide that for herself. How I might personally feel about it doesn't negate a woman's rights to self determination.

But, Pregnant Peggy-Sue has cousin Ellie-May’s wedding to go to in New York City, when Peggy-Sue will be 19 weeks pregnant.

Are you saying that the State has so much of a vested interest in Peggy-Sue’s potential offspring that it would seek to prohibit her from going to NYC in case she decided to get an abortion while out-of-town?

But hopefully you would have a choice notto if you decided for life but the State desired your 'elimination'.

What about that little woman in the womb? What's her choice?

Unless she is raped she knew what she was doing knew the risk if you do not want that risk get your legs closed. It is not hard.
It is hard.

Not every decision is always made with a clear and obvious choice of right vs wrong spelled out easily for all to understand.

Things get complicated when we're talking about interpersonal relationships and the psychology and emotions that come with them. I cannot fault a woman who ended up sleeping with a man only to decide a little further down the road that he is probably not the best person to have a child with, and while a man can literally just walk away from the situation altogether, the woman is stuck carrying a baby she'll have to raise for the next 18 years. Abortion, though unfortunate as it may be, gives a woman back her right to self determination and control over her own life.

I can see it happening as the states try to out do each other with how illegal abortion is made.

She doesn't have one. Even outside of the womb, children don't make decisions for their parents. It's the other way around.

Because in this particular case, the laws you are trying to pass are by their very nature discriminatory to half the population, and create a problem with body autonomy and medical privacy.

There are legal challenges to the law itself, without even getting to the point of it being almost entirely a religious view that is being imposed on others.
Discriminatory is one way of considering these laws/bills.

The other way of looking at it is that these policies are designed to protect the unborn. These laws recognize that any illusion of “bodily autonomy” necessarily stops short of destroying someone else’s body.

Already in a few states it is lawful for a doctor to assist someone in committing suicide.

Why is it not hard? They know what they are doing. Either do not do it or woman up.

I think you're underestimating how difficult of a decision that could be for some women. If it really were as easy as you make it seem, I doubt we'd even be having this discussion.

True and that sort of thing will increase as society drifts further from it's biblical roots and influence. See what's happening now as they are tampering with gender of children against the parent's wishes.

This country never was a Christian nation. Also, what does that have to do with assisted suicide?
