An interesting point made somewhere else in this thread is that the 3.5 years is from the time of the beginning of a treaty but in fact the Jews could well be offering sacrifices in the rebuilt temple for perhaps a decade or more previous to when that treaty is actually made!!!!!!

So....do you as a Christian fear the coming of the Antichrist guy so greatly that you would wish to see a necessary prophecy delayed....to such an extent that the coming of Rabbi Jesus/Yahushua to stand on the Mt. of Olives would be delayed????

I agree OneThatGotAway....and all twelve of the lost tribes must be restored! That restoration process will include the fulfillment of every word in the law as well as in the prophets!

Thank you Blackwater Babe....I may be wrong but at this time I am in agreement with a prophecy given by a man in Uganda that I quote on page 3 of this thread that Christians supporting Jews in their desire to build their Third Temple will result in an outpouring of the Holy Spirit unlike has ever been seen! It will even be greater than the outpouring that occurred during the Apostolic era of the church!

I strongly tend to disagree LittleLambofJesus! I believe that Rabbi Jesus is about to cause an astonishing number of people to flock to salvation as He shakes his church/temple as well as the Jewish people in ways that He has never shaken us previously!

Actually, within weeks after praying in a rather dangerous manner back in 1990 I found myself going through a process for a couple of night where I could not stop shaking and vibrating. It is difficult for me to pick a specific group that I could belong to but in a real sense I believe that God has made me a "Quaker!?!?!?"

My old church, the Worldwide Church of God used the comments about a little flock to perpetuate their idea that only people who attempted to observe the weekly and annual Jewish sabbaths and Holy Days actually had the Holy Spirit but this was intellectually dishonest and brought us close to blasphemy against the Holy Spirit because believing this little flock idea too seriously led us toward teaching that Pentecostals spoke in tongues and had other miracles through the power of fallen angels!

I tend to believe that great "earthquake" happened in Israel/Judea back in ad70. Anyone seen a temple/sanctuary there lately?

COMMENTS: Israel has always included the bloodline of Yaakob (Jacob) with grafted in foreigners, including the church. However, today the true bloodline of Israel and the grafted church has not given themselves wholly to YAHWEH, the Almighty God. Both of them follow the sins of Jeroboam and rejected some of the laws of God.

The churches today do NOT remember the PASSOVER; but follow EASTER in secret honor of the goddess Eostre (Astarte, Ostera, Eastre). This is one of the sins of Jeroboam who caused Israel (and the grafted in foreigners) to sin against God.

COMMENT: These aliens (grafted in) lived among the native-born (Israel) followed by faith in YAHWEH and by performing the works of the His Torah. Israel and the churches today obeyed some of God's words and Torah; and thus, she is partly blessed and partly cursed because of her stubborness. The church act like the ancient Egypt today with man-made pagan traditions intermixed with some of God's Torah.

God's people are people for faith.
Rom 2:28-29 28 A man is not a Jew if he is only one outwardly, nor is circumcision merely outward and physical. 29 No, a man is a Jew if he is one inwardly; and circumcision is circumcision of the heart, by the Spirit, not by the written code. Such a man's praise is not from men, but from God. NIV

COMMENT: YAHWEH's the Almighty God (Blessed Be His Holy Name) has always called and protect His people who are of both FAITH and WORKS; since the creation of Adam unto the end of time. A man is a son of Israel if he is both outwardly AND inwardly. The context of the WHOLE Chapter 2 of Romans testify to BOTH and not one against the other. Consider the context:

"(For not the hearers of the law [TORAH] [are] just before God [YAHWEH], but the DOERS of the law shall be justified." ---- Letter of Romans 2:13

"Behold, thou art called a Jew, and restest in the LAW, and makest thy boast of God," ---- Letter of Romans 2:17

"Thou that makest thy boast of the law, through breaking the law dishonourest thou God? Therefore if the uncircumcision keep the JUST REQUIREMENTS of the law, shall not his uncircumcision be counted for circumcision?" ---- Letter of Romans 2:23-26

AND HERE IS ONE OF THE KICKER That keeps YAHWEH'S Theme the same from Genesis to Revelation:

"What [doth it] profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him? Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works. Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble." ---- Letter of James 2:14, 17-19

Therefore the churches and Satan have this in common: They have faith in God but disobey His Torah. However, Satan is still the head and leader of this rebellion.

The new community is without normal cultural markers.

The new community is the same as the old community: All is one when it comes to serving God. The only difference is that new community have the Saviour to intercede before God. But do not forget the warning church:

Keep this in mind: ALL of Israel was not taken away; there has ALWAYS been a remant (branch) of the bloodline Israel that has stay true to YAHWEH, God Almighty.

Is there a way in which growing Canadian support for the Jewish people in their desire to rebuild their Jerusalem Third Temple could be combined with a major peace initiative to the Islamic nations?

Would Prime Minister Stephen Harper who has control of parliament for three more years, perhaps be more interested in the alternative idea of investing in turning deserts green than he has been in some sort of carbon tax or cap and trade system?

I am advocating investing BILLIONS OF DOLLARS in turning deserts green all over the world as a method of combatting climate change. The Islamic nations have so much to gain from this initiative, if it becomes popular, that they would probably be more willing to give something significant to Canada's Jewish community.

I believe that control of the Jerusalem Temple Mount by the newly formed Jerusalem Sanhedrin and the right for Jews to rebuild and use their Third Temple to offer up sacrifices in the exact manner in which Moses/Moshe told them to do is something that a high percentage of Jewish Canadians would deeply appreciate.

I am of the belief that ancient Jewish, Christian and Islamic scriptures have ARTISTIC value that can be translated into both DIPLOMATIC and ECONOMIC VALUE. Wars can be prevented through books and film projects based on sacred scriptures that help us to better understand people raised within a totally different culture than us.

Tuvia Sagiv presents a theory that the area of the original Temple of Solomon is NOT on top of the Dome of the Rock but well off to the side so that both the Jerusalem Third Temple as well as the Dome of the Rock could perhaps be side by side to each other!

That is a good point freezerman but maybe what is happening is right on schedule. As we Christians become more and more interested in the Hebraic Roots of the Christian Faith it is natural that this question of Christians more actively supporting the Jews in their desire is supposed to happen.

During the era of Messiah perhaps all Christians will have been shown to take the Jewish Sabbath much more seriously than we do at this time?!
