Light, fast, shoots flat, minimal recoil, so quick follow-up shots (keep in mind we ran them with hounds). Fast action, lots of fun!!Why is that?

Compare the specs; 6.5 Grendel is a pretty tame load, the new one is very HOT!I still wonder why the military wouldn't go with the 6.5 Grendel as opposed to a whole new rifle and caliber.

Well, just got notice from our government, they published the "meat" list for the buy backs on freshly prohibited firearms. Nonsense, but it is government.

I see.Light, fast, shoots flat, minimal recoil, so quick follow-up shots (keep in mind we ran them with hounds). Fast action, lots of fun!!
If I could, I could keep my rifle, but I would be identified with all of the other shenanigans they are noted for. No, not I.Can't you just start identifying as First Nations? Some of us do this down here, even politicians.
You ask the question, I gave an answer; do you have an issue with varmint control and enjoying sport?I see.
To each his own methods. You ask the question, I gave an answer; do you have an issue with varmint control and enjoying sport?
Lets also ban cars and motorcycles that can go faster than 60 MPH, that would be a fair comparison. it is not about what something is designed to do; rather the utilitarian nature of what it is used for.Of course they should be banned as they are designed for killing people on mass. You don't need such weapons in American society as you have law enforcement offices that are armed and you have a army to protect you. The 2nd amendment argument is just an excuse to have such weapons and besides you can amend and amendment, that's why it is called an amendment.
In Australia we banned such weapons and since then have had no mass shootings. If you care about the welfare of your fellow citizens, then enact gun laws that ban such weapons completely, you DON'T need them.
So yeah, let's just let every mental defective with a grudge have a weapon that he can load up on Sunday and shoot the rest of the week.I do not believe that the AR has committed any crimes or that it is an outlaw or that it should be outlawed, that can not be said for everyone who has used it however, we need to stop blaming the gun for the acts of the people.
If the deranged start routinely mowing down dozens of innocents with cars and motorcycles I may want to see if there's some way to keep 'em from doing it, or at least make it less handy,Lets also ban cars and motorcycles that can go faster than 60 MPH, that would be a fair comparison. it is not about what something is designed to do; rather the utilitarian nature of what it is used for.
ARs are fine, just modify them with fixed mags loaded with stripper clips. Make 100 round mags class 3.hes been trying to outlaw AR-15s and 100 round ammo magazines
Agreed.I think AR-15s AK47s, Glock 17, Tec-9, and all of those high capacity magazines should be at least highly regulated.
Agreed again.Personally, I would like to see everything banned but revolvers and hunting rifles but that's not realistic.
Semi auto, yeah, but there the similarity ends. No 100 round mag for your shotgun, and you're still loading your .22 from a fixed tube mag. That's the key. Anti-gun lonies talk about "military style" because they can't tell the butt from the muzzle in any case. The problem is the use of high cap magazines, and that's the AR's only sin.My AR was not fully automatic, rather it is self loading like these:
