Reon glanced at Rone. He nodded thoughtfully.
"To answer your question," he said looking at Vialla. "we are not offended by your comming. In fact, you are most welcome."
"If you need a place to stay, you are welcome to stay here." Reon said, pushing some of her hair behind her pointed ears. She looked at Rone who seemed content with her invitation.

Freezia stood. "We need to find our friends. Would you accompany us? We are on a mission to take the seals all to Waterfall city and reforge them before they lose their powers altogether. If we do not do this, the hope of the nations is lost."

"What seals have you found?"

"I have the Light seal. Vialla has the Water. Patryn has the Fire seal, and you have the Gem. Clise has the Air seal, and another of our company has the Earth seal."

"All we need to find is the Life Seal," Vialla said.

A shadow passed over Freezia's face. "I know where that is, also. It will not be easy to find." She looked once more at Rone. "We need a way out. To the caves above, to find our friends."

Rone nodded.
"Follow me." he said. He walked through a long, wet tunnel, and eventually came to a huge room. Two sets of staircases led to the caves above.
"Both lead to the same place." Rone explained, as he led them up the most sturdey case of stairs. Soon, they were in another room, with three tunnels. One leading to the right, one leading tot he left and the other leading straight ahead.

Freezia approached all three of the tunnels, starting on the left. she felt a breath of fresh air. "The one on the left," she muttered, "Is not right. It leads to the surface. The one in the middle smells musty, so it is not the right one either. I guess the one on the right."

"Correct, Reon said, grinning."

"Lead on!" Vialla cried.

"There will be death among the orcs today!" Freezia said, nocking arrow to string. "If but one hair on our friends' heads are damaged," she said grimly, "the first orc I find will be the first one to die."

sorry that it takes me so long, i'll try to wrap up things a bit....
----

Clise managed to cut through an opening from the encircling goblins. Patyrn's distraction had freed her to use her own seal. Summoning the power from the air seal, she sent a blast of chilly wind down the tunnel, the remaining goblins were flung aside, banging against walls and dropping down onto the ground, their bodies out cold. Clise knelt down to examine one fallen goblin, noticing that it wasn't dead, but was just unconsicous.
Or just too frozen to move she thought as she pulled her finger away from its icy cold face. Patyrn approached her from behind.
----

Taren dropped down several goblins with his quaterstaff. Jabbing and swirling his weapon around him, he hurtled down the tunnel, taking with him around seven to eight goblins. There was no way that he could use the earth seal here, which would probably do more harm than good.
"Taren!" a voice sounded from a few paces in front of him, and Lorgain appeared right after he cut through the mess of bodies. "We need to find the others and get out of here."
"Don't i know it," Taren muttered, his teeth gritted, "This way."
----

Aridol meanwhile, was busy trying to find a way out. He seemed to have gone the wrong way when a couple of goblins forced him into another tunnel. Now that all his enemies laid dead at his feet, he had to find a way to get back to the others.

arrrrr, maybe we can leave Aridol for awhile, ferment promised to post but he hasn't managed to read through all the posts yet.
glad to have you join us owl!
did i read it that Freezia mentioned "orcs"?!
----

"Patyrn!" Clise said, putting her hand to her chest in relief, "That was quite some firework," she remarked, trying to lighten up the mood.
Patyrn nodded in agreement, "I think so too," and her face broke into a smile.
Clise took a look around her by the fire dancing above the fire seal in Patyrn's hand. There was no sign of the others. Concern and worries seeped through into her consciousness and she suddenly felt her chest tightening, "Let's go find them," she said hurriedly.
----

"Are you sure you know the way?" Lorgain said from behind. Taren wasn't in the best mood to get into an argument now, he knew that Lorgain didn't mean it to be a stinging question, but it made him feel vulnerable and responsible. The truth was, he was uncertain. This seemed to be the right way if his memory served correctly... but the tunnel was too dark, who knew how many openings were there?

Erulan sat watching the carnage from his throne he knew his time was nearly up soon the fools would find the Life seal then his power would be gone. General send messengers to the Trolls, Giants, and Goblins across this land tell them the time of war has begun that they are to amass here then we are to march for every Elven city and village in Europe and Asia and the first city we shall destroy is Waterfall City with out it the seals can't be reformed then they will be mine. Send word to all regiments across the world all troops will regroup here then we shall march for Waterfall City.

My plan is that by the time the armies of darkness are gathered to geather that the companions will have exited the caves found the life seal and arrived at Waterfall City for the last battle that is at least my idea tell me what you think.

----------------------------------------------------------------

Aridol was very lost in the darkness of the tunnels. He grabbed a torch from a downed Orc and used it to light up the tunnel. Pain suddenly short through his leg as he straightened up.
*Argh... got careless. Should never have gotten a cut from the Orc* he thought.

His face was filled with sweat and streaks of blood. Although the Orcs were untrained butchers, they numbers made it very exhausting for Aridol to kill all of them.
"Now i have to find the others. Stupid leg, move!" Aridol said while grasping for breath. His strength was slowly draining from him.
Lowering his blood drenched black blade, he knelt, attempting to regain his energy. His eye lids were as heavy as lead. As he tried to keep himself straight, a figure slowly appeared from the far tunnel.
The figure nocked an arrow, aiming straight for Aridol's head.

Everything slowed as the Orc archer released the arrow. Aridol, using up all his last reserve of energy, flipped himself to the side. He yelled in pain as the arrow pierced his shoulder, missing his head by inches.

Dizziness and eventually darkness overwhelmed him as he fell.

Here's the first part to my idea...

Reon turned her head. Someone was back there. She walked back up the tunnel and turned into the left tunnel. She ran down that tunnel, and down some stairs. Her nimble figure enabled her to do this, without any noise. She stopped when she heard orc voices. She peered around a corner, and saw four of them. Reon string her bow silently and jumped out from behind the wall and before the ocs could turn to see who it was, all four of them were dead. Reon ran down some more stairs, and down a short tunnel. She didn't know where she was going, or why, but she knew she had to get there.

Hey Ferment, wouldst thou like the life seal? I have an idea also. Sure, owl.

~~~~~
Unbeknownst to the rest, Freezia had strayed from the pack and had gone down the tunnel Reon took, only she branched off another direction. Suddenly frightened, she stooped to brush the thick cobwebs from her silver hair. As she did so, her hand brushed the rough walls of the passageway, and the rock crumbled under her fingers. Shuddering, she turned back, but her foot caught on a tripcord. A thick, blank slab of rock fell across the tunnel behind her and prevented her returning. Try as she might to find a handhold, the rock would not budge. Warily, she moved forward, and spotted the next tripcord. She stepped to the side of the passage and sprang it with the tip of her bow. Two dozen arrows zipped out of nowhere and lodged themselves where she had been standing.
She could hear a heavy pounding noise coming towards her, and she looked wildly around for an escape. She spotted the dark recess where the arrows were coming from above the slab-wall. She managed to catch her hand on it, then she swung her foot up. Just as she pulled her body onto the ledge, a cave troll rounded the bend and sent up a roar, pulling at his chains. A dark, swarthy man walked into view, obviously the trainer.
"Masha, someone's in here . . . maybe she knows something about this." He motioned with his hand, and at least a score of his kind marched around, pushing a dark-haired captive ahead of their spearpoints. Totally unafraid, the girl stared levelly at the captain of the dark men. Then she totally ignored him, searching out the shadows. She spotted Freezia, and they locked eyes for a moment. Then Clover turned away.
"It's useless. He's far away by now. You'll never catch him."
"Where is he?"
"I don't know. He could be anywhere."
"Did he come the way you did?"
Clover snorted and did not reply. But Freezia heard a voice in her head.
'Well? Are you going to help me or not?'
Freezia's answer was a rain of arrows. The men dodged for cover, leaving Clover standing there in front of the enraged cave troll. The captain gasped, tugging at the arrow that had grown from his chest. Clover pulled a knife from somewhere and finished him, dodging in time to avoid a ponderous smash of the troll's fist. "Thanks!" She shouted audibly, as Freezia lent her a hand. They climbed far back along the ledge while Freezia continued to fire arrows into the thick skull of the beast. It swung toward her, now in its death throes. It had been young, unskilled. Larger, more experienced Trolls might have killed them.
"There's a tunnel back here," Clover said.
"I think it's for ventilation, but we can try."
"Why are you here?" There was quick wonder in Clover's eyes.
"I could ask the same of you, only any enemy of my enemy is a friend. I trust you." Freezia shrugged. "We came looking for the seven seals."
"You have them?"
"We do."
Freezia gestured toward the tunnel. "You first."
ok.... i'm gonna get Aridol to meet up with Clover and Freezia ok?
-------------------------------
Images suddenly filled Aridol's eyes as his head bumped into a rough rock, waking him up from his unconsciousness. His mouth was dry and his face covered in numerous cuts and scratches.
He tried moving his arms and felt the bonds cutting into his wrist.
*Am I going to die like this? .... The Glory of Eyre...* He blinked his eyes, and as expected, he was being dragged by the Orc who shot him in the arm.
He tried to wiggle his way free, but the lack of energy restrained him from even twisiting his body. When hope was nearly gone, the tunnel suddenly dimmed, and two figures jumped out of a narrow tunnel on one side of the wall.
Just as the Orc turned his head, a silver arrow flew through his head, never giving a change for it to cry an alarm.
Aridol's eyes widened at the sight of the two characters.
"Aridol!! I know it's you!" Freezia shouted, with all smiles while running towards him.
Aridol tried to smiled back but it hurts too much, "Thank God..." and he slumped back into darkness..
well, at least i'm found hahhha....
hehe.
~~~~~

Freezia stiffened as Clover held up her hand, still inching along the rock ventilation shaft -- if that was what it was. They reached a branch, and Clover looked at them, then chose the left. Freezia grabbed her ankle and pointed towards the one on the right. "I hear something!" she mouthed, and Clover looked confused. Freezia slid the last few feet until her feet touched a similer ledge to that where she killed the cave troll. She spotted the torches lighting the hallway, and she blinked at them. The tunnel darkened considerably, and she heard the startled grunt of an orc, dragging a heavy burden. Clover nodded towards her and they hurtled out of the passageway. Clover blocked the tunnel and Freezia loosened her arrow, speeding it on its way with a soft hiss of "S'death on the wind!"

She rushed towards Aridol, her excitement hardly contained. "Aridol! I know it's you!" She bent over him, touching his forehead. "Clover, he's badly wounded. We'll have to get to the surface, and quickly!"

Clover nodded. "I can hear some of your friends, right now!" Reon came cat-footing it down the tunnel, and looked confused when she found them bending over Aridol. Lorgain and Taren practically stumbled over them, and when Freezia had helped lift Aridol up to the ventilation shaft, she heard Clise's voice, echoing in the complex ventilation network. "Let's go find them!"

When they met, Freezia clasped Clise's hand. "I see we had the same idea!" she whispered fiercely, and grinned. Clise nodded to Taren and Lorgain. "Now that we've found each other, I think we should split up."

Freezia nodded. "Okay. You take Lorgain, Taren, Vialla and Patryn. If Rone shows up, he can come with us. He has the Gem Seal. And this is Reon, this is Clover." She introduced the others, and Taren looked nervous.

"I don't think this is time for pleasantries," he muttered.

Freezia looked a little more serious. "Correct. Whatever happens, we'll meet each other at Waterfall City!" Without another word, she signalled to her group and they entered a maintenance chamber and began to tend to Aridol, hoping he would come around.

"His sword," Clover whispered, and placed it in Aridol's hand.

Meanwhile the sky above Castle Darkskull were black and dull like it was about to rain but there would be no rain instead the sky was black from the smoke of thousands of fires all across the once beautiful countryside. There could be heard the chop of steel on wood as woodcutters began to cut down the forests around the country. The trees were then shipped off to therges and workshops all of Romania was preparing for war the large Romanian army had gathered at Darkskull to rearm and resupply for the long march to Waterfall City. Then news came from the Goblins, Giant's and Trolls their armies would arrive at Darkskull in two weeks by that time the new weapons of destruction catapults, Balistas, battering rams, and
Siege towers would be ready for the long expected war.

ooh, man. I love battles. Grimr, what do you plan on happening to Erulan eventually? It'd be good for me or everyone to know before the battle or we may not be able to fit our plans together.

<< shudder >>

Make your army bigger! You need more to defeat the armies of Waterfall City and the elven city of Arwillene.
