Dont mean to derail - just quickly asks - where is the reaction section now on this revised format. See 'like' but where is pray, excellent, friendly. Maybe my glasses aren't working.

Thanks, Little Lantern. It's good to be back among you all.So glad to see you, @joyshirley! I think you should apply for an exemption to that rule as you are very well known to most here.
Thanks, rebornfree. Happy to post here. It was good to see that you and many others are still active here. Funny to think I will be 'retirement age' next year. It doesn't feel like it!Hi Joyshirley, lovely to 'see' you again.
We've had some youngsters - you know the 60-64 year olds - look in here so feel free to join us. It's more about stage than age. I felt that mid 60s + had issues, such as retirement, which were quite different to the GEs in their 50s so I started this thread. If you like to post here please do.
How are things with you?
(Btw I added smilies but they haven't appeared!)
do you live in europe..., i went to italy in 1964,,, it was beautiful ,,, typing with one hand due to nosebleed,,,We just returned from Italy. I drank espresso every day and really enjoyed it.
Hi Jane, great to meet you, good to hear about your life, ministry and love of the Lord.Greetings everyone,
I'm quite new to this website and I think this is the first time I've posted in Senior Eagles. I just wanted to say that I am 69 and turning 70 next week. I feel as though I'm talking about someone else. I'm very active and fit and fortunately in really good health so I feel about 50. I'm in a much closer walk with the Lord than I think I've every been. I began a three year part-time course at Bible College this year and thoroughly enjoying it. The Lord also led me to a new church last year which is greatly blessing me. I've gradually become totally involved in the church and the different age groups in this church totally blend together and it's wonderful. We have people from different church backgrounds on my course in the Bible College and we just bless each other. Hope you are all having a wonderful day.
LOL.Hi folks, just getting used to the new forum format... and continuous snowfall!
well I have the family for Christmas dinner and ordered the turkey. My daughter invited her family so I wouldn't be on my own. So kind and thoughtful, ha ha, it may be something to do with the fact that she doesn't cook.
I'm so sorry for your loss, musicalpilgrim. I've been alone for ten years now. My husband had a great memory, and I often wish I could ask him a question. He wasn't much for conversation though ---kind of like his father. If he had opinions, he usually kept them to himself unless someone made him angry.I will still miss my lovely husband, who died on 5th October. The tears still flow when I think of him.
Christmas Blessings to you all ...
Welcome and continued blessings!Greetings everyone,
