Thanking God for your safety. My daughter probably arrived home from San Antonio late last night.

How long was she there? I hope she got to do some sight-seeing. It's been a number of years since we've been to San Antonio, maybe eleven or twelve I guess. Strangely enough, an aunt & uncle of my husband, from NY, had a time share there and invited us to stay with them for a week. Don't know if they still have it, probably not, they're well on in years now.

Between travel time and conference she was gone about a week. Fight home was delayed. Flew from San A. to Dallas to Chicago, stayed in a hotel, then another flight to closer airport where her friend's car was parked. She got home hours later than anticipated, but safe and sound!

My grandmother and several relatives whom I met after my marriage lived in S.A.

I forgot to ask about site-seeing!

80 F at the moment. Only down to 63 tonight. It's nice to have a window open at night though!

I planted 22 okra plants and decided I was hot so I quit for the day. Have the ceiling fan on.

She saw the Alamo but it was after dark and she got some genuine German food even though they didn't go to New Braunfels.

She saw the Alamo but it was after dark and she got some genuine German food even though they didn't go to New Braunfels.

I'm glad she got to visit a few places. She would have liked New Braunfels, lots of history there.

Thank you for the prayers. Although it wasn't easy I survived. LOL: I fell into a wall in a public office but not on the floor and then caught my balance! My oh my! I hope the coming week is easier.
