Secular bands or artists who have "christian" songs

I am trying to make a list of secular bands that have songs which can be interpreted to have a "christian meaning". They can be either obvious songs or subtle. Any thoughts?

Creed comes to mind as an obvious first example. I consider Stretch Arm Strong to be a secular band, but they have many songs that have Christian meanings, since their songwriter is Christian. One could say the same for Killswitch Engage and Soulfly, though I'd say Soulfly is pseudo-Christian. As for a secular band knowingly doing a flat-out Christian song, you have the Dropkick Murphys with "Amazing Grace". That's the best version of that song I have ever heard, BTW.

Thrice, from interviews with the non-christians in the band, are NOT a christian band, but because their songwriter (lead singer/guitarist) is a christian, their lyrics and songs are often used as a "proof" that they ARE in fact christian. Their songs have a lot of christian meanings in them using biblical imagery and stuff from CS Lewis as inspiration.

OK, I know Thrice is not listed or known as a Christian band but this is some of the most blatant Christian lyrics I have read in a long time. These songs are filled with messages of hope, grace and salvation. The songs don't come out and say Jesus, but the references are on every song, even mentions of the wine and bread, our light, grace, the word that saves us, etc. I wish Christian bands had this great of lyrics. Songs like "Image of the Invisible" and "The Earth Will Shake" are very clear Biblical messages of God's love for us. Now matter your spiritual direction, you will find comfort and hope in Thrice's latest album!

Well, Kanye West, Destiny's Child and I think either Beenie Man or Elephant Man have one too, I am not too sure, however, I am very sure of the first two. Lol. God Bless.

Reliant K is "secular" but supposedly a Christian band, you can tell in some of their lyrics.

Switchfoot is played on MTV here and they are a Christian band, also.

Rascal Flatts maybe?

And oh, BTW.. Reliant K is NOT secular, they are a Christian group, who gets alot of secular play, along with Lifehouse and Switchfoot.

Actually it's a Soul Embraced song. And Soul Embraced was/is(? are they still around?) a Christian band. The first time Evanescence recorded it they were too.

I don't know about their lyrics, but I think every member with exception to the lead singer of Story of the Year are Christians. They hang out alot with Anberlin.
