It's sad that when Evanescence got big they pretend not to be christians. I guess they felt people wouldn't like them if they admit their faith.

There are a lot of country singers who have very faith-based songs. I was watching CMT (not something I normally do, but I had nothing better to do, plus I wasn't in control of the remote) and saw a few songs with fairly blatent "praise" names or very faith-based lyrics. There is Keith Urban's "But For the Grace of God" and Carrie Underwood's "Jesus Take The Wheel" for example.

I'm surprised, that no-one has mentioned Dream Theater. Nobody knows if they're christian or not.

Switchfoot isn't necessarily secular. They are a mainstream Christian band.

Dream Theater has a few christian members and some of their lyrics such as 'The spirit caries on' reflect that.

Emperor is not christian at all, anti christian even, but their song 'With strength I burn' could very well be interpreted as having a christian meaning, very deep and good lyrics.
