CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Nothing is more dangerous to a party then being in power. When Clinton took the reigns Folley (House Speaker), Mitchel (Senate Leader) and a bunch of other Democrats were voted out. As a matter of fact Democrats couldn't get elected to dog catcher. Republicans are heading down that road but Moore had no debates, no position on the issues, Trump campaigns for him over the weekend, while he does nothing, and he is still ahead in the polls. We'll see, because if elected he is guaranteed a trip to the Senate Ethics Committee.

... as Democrats were saying for a good while, albeit about one of their own, the ethics committee is the appropriate venue. If there is any credibility to the allegations then there is little doubt that Mitch McConnell will pressure the ethics committee to remove Moore. If there is no credibility, then I would expect Republican voters of not just Alabama, but the entire country, to be unforgiving if Moore is removed.

He will most likely be censored, which dosnt mean much. Removing him would overturn a free election and seems unlikely. Thats not even my biggest problem with him, he's lazy, he does none of the leg work and gets a free ride. I see this of sings of the to come with Bannon and the alt right in 2018. I concerned about Heruasalem and North Korea, the alt right has me seriously worried.

To the Right's credit, they did warn us years ago that same sex marriage would lead to embracing pedophilia... they just didn't mention that they'd embrace it...
(In all fairness, they also said it would lead to bestiality, but Alabama finally made that a misdemeanor in 2014)

Cut them some slack -- the wheels of social justice turn slow in Alabama. When SCOTUS struck down anti-miscegenation laws in 1967 with Loving v Virginia, Alabama was the last state to repeal its interracial marriage ban...
...in November of 2000.

It pays for itself. The return on investment is likely under a year given the reduced travel and incidental costs going back and forth between Tel Aviv and Jerusalem.
