Quite the interesting interpretation.
Notice also that in the Bible, God tries desperately to stop any and all such attempts... none more blatantly than His panic over the Tower of Babel.
Incorrect interpretation of the Tower of babel.
"3 They said to each other, “Come, let’s make bricks and bake them thoroughly.” They used brick instead of stone, and tar for mortar. 4 Then they said, “Come, let us build ourselves a city, with a tower that reaches to the heavens, so that we may make a name for ourselves; otherwise we will be scattered over the face of the whole earth.”
Notice their reasoning for building the tower "otherwise we will be scattered over the face of the whole earth." and to "make a name for themselves."
But what did God command mankind to do? "Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth."
We see they are violating God's command to fill the earth, so that they might make a name for themselves. They are violating the command given to Adam and repeated to Noah. They were commanded to spread out and fill the earth, but in their vainglory to make a name for themselves (not in glory to God the one who endowed them with knowledge) they stayed together "lest they be scattered." And so were forced to scatter...
The reason He stopped their attempt is because they were a stubborn lot, refusing to do their jobs as caretakers of the earth, seeking a name for themselves with their wisdom instead of glorifying their Creator with that Wisdom. Had they built a tower to glorify God, not themselves, and to commemorate their brotherhood before departing to unknown lands......
Instead they puffed themselves up and spit in God's face....
