What does a criminal "look like?" Many of our serial killers and juvenile terrorists look like the depicted boy/girl next door.

So, what are the facial characteristics of a criminal?

Good point.

It would appear, the OP wants his preconceived notions, to align with reality.

It is important to examine the spiritual motives... Which the scientist have an obvious contempt for the Christ. I have never seen their mockery and open insult of Christ in any church of any kind.

Broad brush much?

Many scientists are Christians.

And here is my research...

Josephus was a Jew of the time and he had a long thin nose, as did Christ on the shroud of Turin...

Therefore comparing the two Christ looked more like the figure below, in which I used the eyes of Josephus and photoshopped them into the image of the Lord...

You know that's not actually a picture of Josephus, right? That's an 18th century romanticized illustration for a biography of him. This:

is more likely how he (Josephus) looked.

Jesus commands us to spread the Gospel. He doesn't command us to engage in the same behavior as sinners. In fact, if we give the message of salvation, and they don't obey, we are to "kick the dust from our feet" and leave them in their sin. "Cast not your pearls before swine".

That's awesome! I'm not sure if you know this, but Jesus was also not a sinner. That's just like you! I'm impressed, I thought Jesus was the only one.

Never watched it...don't want too

Your loss, friend... You'd be surprised how easily a group of free-wheeling anti-establishment hippies fit into the story of Jesus...

So your problem with the OP pic is that the nose is too short?
...and apparently short noses denote criminal tendencies. I suspect the REAL reason the picture is "insulting" is because it doesn't look like the Shroud...of course it doesn't even slow rockytopva down that so many people have pointed out the OP picture wasn't meant to be a picture of Jesus, just a representation of what the people of His day and age and area He came from tended to look like.
tulc(facts are apparently insulting but ignoring repeated questions is just fine) :sorry:

They matched the facial features of the time and period...
CaviezelJesusJosephus_zps3x8j0uzl.png

So our examples of what people looked like in the first century, is a picture painted in the 18th century, a shroud from the 13th century, and the picture of an actor from the 21st century? And somehow these all match?
