(Joh 20:17) Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.

Mary could nit touch Hi before He appesared to His Father.

(Luk 24:39) Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have.

(Luk 24:40) And when he had thus spoken, he shewed them his hands and his feet.

He retained His humanity after His resurrection.

Humanity dies and can be killed ...Jesus cannot be killed again...nor can humanity kill the people Jesus will resurrect and give new bodies...they will live forever and no.man can prevent that from happening...

Yes, and what does that have to do with what Jesus said that He was not spirit? Adam and Eve were human--before and after sin. We were to be immortal as long as we did not fall, but were still human. Access to the tree of Life is what gave them that immortality which they lost when they fell.

(Gen 3:22) And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:
(Gen 3:23) Therefore the LORD God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken.
(Gen 3:24) So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.

We get back the tree of life when we are resurrected.

(Rev 2:7) He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.
(Rev 22:2) In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.
(Rev 22:14) Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

Wait if humanity can be killed, and Jesus cannot be killed, how is Jesus human?

No man killed Jesus either--

(Joh 10:17) Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again.
(Joh 10:18) No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father.

He was fully human, and fully divine and has divine powers we never can have.

Not for Jesus. He had the power to access His divinity at any time-He just chose to not exercise that power except under certain circumstances, besides----

(Joh 5:19) Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise.
(Joh 5:30) I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.

So your saying the resurrected will be mortal and need the tree of life to remain alive?

Bible says mortal must wear immortal..and corruption put on incorruptible..then death is swallowed up in victory...no.more death for the resurrected

Was Jesus resurrected mortal as well?...can Jesus be killed?

1) Superman is not human, he's Kryptonian.

2) Weapons tend to hurt fully human humans.

3) Fully human humans have a tendency to die at some point.

I am just quoting what the bible says. Adam and Eve were thrown out of the garden so they would not eat of the tree of life and live forever.
(Gen 3:22) And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:

And that the bible says we are entitled to eat of that tree of life and water of life as our inheritance.

(Rev 2:7) He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.
(Rev 21:6) And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.
(Rev 22:17) And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.

We are changed into immortality at the resurrection.

(1Co 15:52) In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
(1Co 15:53) For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
(1Co 15:54) So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.

Now, how God accomplishes that is entirely up to Him.

I already answered the rest--

(Joh 10:17) Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again.
(Joh 10:18) No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father.

I'm not sure I understand your positions

Jesus lay down his life to die once...he will not die again...he will not be another sacrifice for freedom from the law again

I would think immortals would not need food to survive ...but perhaps the flesh and bones need food ...who knows..

What are your thoughts on this?

I did not say He would!!! At the crucifixion no man killed Him, He laid down His life and took ot up again. that is His power.
God provides the Tree of Life with 12 different fruits on it and the water of life and we will have more than water to drink:

Mat_26:29 But I say unto you, I will not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father's kingdom.

Mar_14:25 Verily I say unto you, I will drink no more of the fruit of the vine, until that day that I drink it new in the kingdom of God.

Luk_22:18 For I say unto you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine, until the kingdom of God shall come.

Adam and Eve were eating--it was on the point of eating they messed up.

But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. - 1 Corinthians 2:14

A man who knows not the Christ has no business at all trying to image the figure of Christ. A man who knows the Christ on a personal basis will not attempt to insult and disfigure the image of who he knows on the inside. Like these Englishmen have done!

Are all anthropologist excluded from being Christians, or just the ones on this project? Did you research the religious leanings of those on this project?

And here is my research...

Josephus was a Jew of the time and he had a long thin nose, as did Christ on the shroud of Turin...
JosephusJesus_zps08izpbc1.jpg

Therefore comparing the two Christ looked more like the figure below, in which I used the eyes of Josephus and photoshopped them into the image of the Lord...

Well, to make the long story short, the Christ does not look like a criminal.

What does a criminal "look like?" Many of our serial killers and juvenile terrorists look like the depicted boy/girl next door.

So, what are the facial characteristics of a criminal?
