So your saying the resurrected will be mortal and need the tree of life to remain alive?
Bible says mortal must wear immortal..and corruption put on incorruptible..then death is swallowed up in victory...no.more death for the resurrected
Was Jesus resurrected mortal as well?...can Jesus be killed?
I am just quoting what the bible says. Adam and Eve were thrown out of the garden so they would not eat of the tree of life and live forever.
(Gen 3:22) And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:
And that the bible says we are entitled to eat of that tree of life and water of life as our inheritance.
(Rev 2:7) He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.
(Rev 21:6) And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.
(Rev 22:17) And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.
We are changed into immortality at the resurrection.
(1Co 15:52) In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
(1Co 15:53) For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal
must put on immortality.
(1Co 15:54) So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
Now, how God accomplishes that is entirely up to Him.
I already answered the rest--
(Joh 10:17) Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again.
(Joh 10:18) No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father.
