Umm no, I am a LaVeyan Satanist and this is NOT the purpose of the Church of Satan. We believe that anyone should believe in what they want, and if you want to be a Christian, so be it, anything to get you through the day. Do more research next time. The "Church of Satan" is basically an Anti-theist establishment. They have nothing to do with Satan, nor do they believe in God or Satan - they chose the name to annoy Christians.
blechROTTING CHRIST!!!!!
\m/\m/
Considering that Rotting Christ is just a bunch of posers, I wouldn't expect you to appreciate real black metal.Deathspell Omega are awful.
Their non-industrial stuff (everything before 666 International) is pretty good. Are you into Dodheimsgard?

Xasthur combines black metal and industrial/noise very well; they would be rather difficult for most people to get into, though. The Amenta is black/death/industrial/noise, and is one of my most favorite bands. Blut Aus Nord, Reverence, (those two make some highly oppressive music) and Aborym are more great black metal/industrial.
Only to people who don't like industrial/noise.Xasthur is awful as well.
Ah..funny...because of Baphomet...heh....I'm fairly sure I've further confused anyone who got that in the first place...heh...As for Manson, I think a lot of that image is primarily to get the goat (heh) of American Evangelicals and Fundamentalists.
Anyay. HIM is not Satanic. I'm fairly sure that if Satan was posting on here, he'd say something to the effect of: "Don't blame me. I had nothing to do with that crap."
