The "Church of Satan" is basically an Anti-theist establishment. They have nothing to do with Satan, nor do they believe in God or Satan - they chose the name to annoy Christians.

Umm no, I am a LaVeyan Satanist and this is NOT the purpose of the Church of Satan. We believe that anyone should believe in what they want, and if you want to be a Christian, so be it, anything to get you through the day. Do more research next time.

Edit: we do see ourselves as the adversary, one to accuse or question. But doesn't everyone question things? Just because we may have a negative view on Christianity and/or Christians do not mean we wish to annoy them.

Their non-industrial stuff (everything before 666 International) is pretty good.

Xasthur combines black metal and industrial/noise very well; they would be rather difficult for most people to get into, though. The Amenta is black/death/industrial/noise, and is one of my most favorite bands. Blut Aus Nord, Reverence, (those two make some highly oppressive music) and Aborym are more great black metal/industrial.

I really don't care for ones like Dødheimsgard and late-era Abigor. Abigor's industrial parts are especially awkward and very much out of place.

Excuse me? I listen to Burzum, Wolven Ancestry, Emperor, Mayhem, Abigor, Darkthrone, Immortal, Blut Aus Nord and many others.

They never claim to be tr00 and gr1m.

Led Zeppelin is not satanic, nor are any of it's members. Jimmy Page was interested in the esteoric for a while, but so am I, and I'm no satanist.

Wow - I never thought I'd see a Black metal thread on a Christian forum, but here it is! And it is awesome.

Adverse Sefira are on tour, and I'm looking forward to seeing them live. I only heard a little of their stuff, but what I have heard, I do like. I think they're on tour with Rotting Christ; another band that has been recommended to me (though I don't like the name at all).

Now, if only Borknagar, Vintersorg, and/or Solefald would tour...those would be some great bands to see live!
