The tree of the knowledge of good and evil was in the midst of the garden...where was the tree of life...are they one and the same...the former being the result of a carnal approach and the latter being the fruit of a real faith and in spirit?

there also in the midst....I set before you life and death choose this day which you want. Deut 30 isnt it?

Yeah, so they are in the same spot... that's what makes me wonder if they are the curse of the law (the letter) which results in death and the blessings of Torah (the spirit) that is life...just like when we approach the Bible with unbelief or alternately in faith...and reap the fruit accordingly.
So what if Eve would've just ate in faith, without the serpent sowing doubt...?

She was awakened.

So because she ate with doubt (which is sin)...she was awakened? Or was it at that point that her heart was corrupted and the carnal mind was awakened... and her spiritual life was stifled?

It's the point where she began to become a Human Being.

She awakened to the awareness of God...which she never knew before.

If by "God" you mean death (sin nature), I agree, but I believe that they (Adam) were insructed by the Creator before Eve partook of the forbidden fruit...and so she was already aware of Him. Unless you are of those who believe that the Creator is different than "God"?

Not the same spot, unless a single tree can grow on two sides of a river (Rv 22:2). The Lord is the tree of life. To acquire knowledge of anything apart form him (idolatry, say) is to eat of the tree of knowledge.

Is that plausible, maybe?

Hey, that's a good verse...I understand it to say that the tree of life will be on both sides of the river and there is no mention of the other tree. So in the beginning, they were both in the midst of the garden, but at the end (or new beginning) only one will remain and it will be big enough to span a river. So would you say that the tree of the knowledge of good and evil was created by the Creator (Yah), but it was off limits to mankind for His good purpose?

It was the sin of disobedience to God, she believed/obeyed satan rather than God. Thinking she could be like God .... same lie Lucifer/Satan propagated in heaven and convinced 1/3 of the angels to fall. That's satans whole thing He wants to replace God with himself being god. Satan and 1/3 of the angels disobeyed God in heaven thinking they could be just like God.

The other tree is not around because the church is around. Jesus did away with the tree of knowledge. The kingdom of God prevails upon the earth now.

Oh I see, you're saying that she did eat in faith, but faith in what the serpent said and not what Yah said. The only way she would eat from that tree may be as a result of already choosing a new master, which the serpent was eager to provide her with...

Who knows the tree of the knowledge of good and evil may have only been forbidden at that time...maybe in another season He would have been okay with it...this is all just conjecture of course. So we can definitely say that the two trees are not the same then?

The deception was not that they would be like God...They already were like God...made in His image.
Because they chose death ahead of life, life could do them no good. If they had chosen life ahead of death, then all the knowledge of God would have been theirs via the Spirit.
Because they chose death, life was withheld from them...they were banished from the Garden lest they eat and live.
Satan is happy to provide knowledge...without life. Man hungers for knowledge, but does not want Jesus Who is The Life of God.
In all our pursuit of knowledge we are still dead.
But we who are in Him have received Life...now knowledge is in its right place...second to Life...not leading.

Sin would be sin, TORAH never changes - no matter who ate of the forbidden tree, or when, it would be sin.

Yahweh never changes. Jesus Christ the Same Yesterday , Today and Forever. TORAH will be unchanged even till (and maybe beyond) heaven and earth are melted, as Jesus Says Clearly.
