It's right to believe in God of course. But living a holy life/sin not belong your master hinges on living under grace not law, according to Paul. You didn't get what I was saying. What I'm saying is many celebrities and famous people believe in god yet it's not reflected and people I know as well. Again what is the difference between believing right and believing... isn't believing in god the right thing according to believing=salvation. Also when you use that scripture are you saying they no longer sin?
I understand what you're saying, but water baptism is for our benefit as a testimony to our faith. If it was required, then faith alone wouldn't be sufficient for salvation.Yet, the apostle Paul said he was glad he didn't baptize except only a few. I wonder why?
So to what extent does believing on god help you with sin? And I see fair enoughIt's right to believe in God of course. But living a holy life/sin not belong your master hinges on living under grace not law, according to Paul.
No it doesn't mean sinless perfection.
Believing God exists does not in itself give anyone victory over sin.So to what extent does believing on god help you with sin? And I see fair enough
If you're not hearing about the righteousness of God, you're not hearing the gospel. When you have a Biblical understanding of righteousness, you'll live right.Wish this was true tbh, the if you believe right you'll live right concept I mean. But I've seen to many who believe and don't live it
In theory that's how it's supposed to go... but in reality it never works that way. I know from experience. You can know the word well but if you don't have his spirit and are baptized it's pointless. Walking in truth alone doesn't do the jobIf you're not hearing about the righteousness of God, you're not hearing the gospel. When you have a Biblical understanding of righteousness, you'll live right.
But how many people do you know who in reality( reality) believe Christ is their righteousness before God?In theory that's how it's supposed to go... but in reality it never works that way. I know from experience. You can know the word well but if you don't have his spirit and are baptized it's pointless
What...?so what's the difference then between someone who believes right and doesn't then? Also read the scripture in my footnotes I have romans 6:1-6 I believeBelieving God exists does not in itself give anyone victory over sin.
The power is in the truth of the gospel message
I'm confused by this question tbh can you explain it more? But how many people do you know who in reality( reality) believe Christ is their righteousness before God?
The reality of the gospel transforms lives by those who are willing to let the Bible get in the way of what they have misunderstood. In theory that's how it's supposed to go... but in reality it never works that way. I know from experience. You can know the word well but if you don't have his spirit and are baptized it's pointless. Walking in truth alone doesn't do the job
Someone who believes right knows faith in Christ is their righteousness before God.What...?so what's the difference then between someone who believes right and doesn't then? Also read the scripture in my footnotes I have romans 6:1-6 I believe
What do you believe gives you right standing before God?I'm confused by this question tbh can you explain it more?
But most including celebrities as I mentioned earlier believe in the first one thoughSomeone who believes right knows faith in Christ is their righteousness before God.
Someone who doesn't believe right believes their righteousness is observing the law.
I mentioned it earlier already acts 2:38What do you believe gives you right standing before God?
Think before you respond
Do they? But most including celebrities as I mentioned earlier believe in the first one though
Yep most people do. It justifies committing sin after allDo they?
Most of the over-all church DOESN'T believe Jesus is our righteousness before God. That's why there is a misplaced emphasis on works and behavior. Romans 1:16-17 is the key to the New Covenant.I'm confused by this question tbh can you explain it more?
As a Christian, (not discussing here what you believe brings you into Christianity) what is your right standing before God?I mentioned it earlier already acts 2:38
I believe currently I'm saved and being sanctified daily if that's what you're asking. As a Christian, (not discussing here what you believe brings you into Christianity) what is your right standing before God?
But remember:Yep most people do. It justifies committing sin after all
