Praise the Lord for this. A blind, deaf mute who is healed will have a radical change in their lives and behaviors for now they can see, hear and speak. When Christ gifted me with spiritual sight it was a painful shock for me to see how sinful and deficit I was. There was no good thing in me, that is in my flesh and still He loved me enough to die in my place and suffer my eternal damnation. Oh what wonderous love. But losing my ego, hubris and pride it has radically changed my behaviour.

Well you are making a big assumption, that fire always means hell fire. But with born again children of God that can not be the case, as God's children will never be in danger of hell.

Obviously they're not partakers of the free gift of salvation if they reject, disobey the gospel.

The problem with just saying you need to believe, and you are saved, is that even Satan believes and is not save. Also, there are many believers who call Him "Lord, Lord" and they are not saved. Someone who truly believes will begin to act differently.

Is belief what you say or what you act out? In truth, it is what you act out.
If you saw a person tight rope walk from one side to the other of the Grand Canyon with a wheelbarrow, you would be amazed. But then if he done it time and time again, you would start to think that it was easy for him. Then watching him for the 100th time, you then know he will make it every time. After this, if the tight rope walker was then to asked you, "Will I make it across", you would say "Of course you will. I have faith in you. I know you will make it." Then, if he said to you to hop in the wheelbarrow, you would say "No."
So, you verbally had faith in him, but your actions showed that you did not trust.
True belief will have actions.

The problem is Satan doesn't have part in Christ's resurrection. What agreement can there be between Christ and the devil? 2 Cor 6:15

Someone who truly believes will begin to act differently.

So you are waiting for God to judge your works to see if the works measured up and you have enough obedience to receive eternal life.

James 2:24 "You see that a person is justified by works and not by faith alone."
Those that truly believe will have works. They are works resulting from belief/love. Those that do not truly believe will sit in the pews.
Someone that truly believes will obey and get into a position where they can help the Gospel be spread in some form or another. Afterall, if you truly believe in God, in heaven and in hell, how could you not tell people of the terrible condemnation that they are under and how could you not tell them of Jesus great sacrifice. To not tell them would not be loving and we are to love our neighbour as we love ourselves. I would hate for someone not to warn me of such a thing.
NOTE: Our actions/works are an overflowing of our heart. So, the works we do are not to try and get into heaven. But they will be proof that we truly do believe and love God and others. Those that do not have these works may need to question themselves.
