no.. you missed that part of the fact that the covenant is that which is written on parchment.. which is now obsolete.. not that which is engraved on stone and now to be placed on the heart. You missed a spot![]()

This is where Paul gets into it is not "how" that you let anyone judge you on.. In other words, do not get caught up in the Pharisee way, but continue to abide in obedience to God regarding on the keeping of the feasts, sabbaths or new moon celebrations.. THey are the shadow of things to come, and the body is of Christ. So be a part of His body.. Emulate Him in these matters.16Therefore do not let anyone judge you by what you eat or drink, or with regard to a religious festival, a New Moon celebration or a Sabbath day

That was the point of my questions. If I had meant to convert anyone I would have answered them with my personal opinion or that of my "Jewish site". I already answered them for myself. These were questions I tough of, there might be others. I did not request you go there, I just did not want to spent hours answering questions that have already been answered there already so you can find them there. You brought up the subject by answering my post to convert me to your point of view. I sent you to the web site so you can get your answer. I was not stating anything, I wrote it because those where questions I asked myself. You answered yourself here because you want me to answer the questions with my beliefs so that you can argue them. I did not state the answers for that very reason. They were not meant for argument they were meant for introspections and meditation upon scripture. BTW I did not say I had 40 minutes to write. It took me 40 min to write that particular post another time wasting argument you want to make.I believe that you requested I go to a Jewish site and read 10,000 pages. Why?
Present your idea concernning the questions you posed and I will respond. You do not appear to be asking seeking questions? This is why I say you are looking for converts and or arguing. I will give solid answers backed with scripture.
BTW your 40 minutes you had to write was up over an hour ago. look at the time stamp in the top left corner.

I guess the saints in Revelation 14:12 are in big trouble then.
Taking from the letter of James, it appears those jews were the apostles and their disciples . Paul even mimicked the phrase firstfruits regarding the apostles . this was during the transitional stage when the old was marked obsolete but had not yet passed away .
In Hebrew to "believe" means there is a follow through into action as in obedience to the commandments of Adonai, our LORD. The western/greek mindset thinks and has been taught that it is just a mental head knowledge kind of thing. But let me say again the Biblical Hebrew definition means to KEEP and DO His commandments, statutes and judgments.
pharisees = judaizers?? who can say.. but they are ones who get into the details of "how" which is what Paul is dealing with... It is the obedience and not in the rituals that are important... ritualizers are very particular about the hows and that is what Paul is fighting against.Highly highly doubtful there were pharisees there. Besides, just read 2 as a whole, he gave a litany of things they should stay away from.
Food abstinence, angel worship, circumcision, sab, you name it.
And the clincher, elementals of the world in 8 and 20, the exact same wordage he used in Gal 4:3, while under judaism,
These were gnostic jews, invading the church.

Yep.. in this you and I agree... do not let man stop you with traditional understanding.. aka rituals or oral torahs as the case may be.. Like what is happening today at this restaurant..All you gotta do is read the repetition of the "let no one". Clear emphatic scriptures here, clear directives, that need no "special insight".
4 I say this in order that no one may delude you with plausible arguments.
8 See to it that no one takes you captive by philosophy and empty deceit, according to human tradition, according to the elemental spirits of the world, and not according to Christ.
16 Therefore let no one pass judgment on you in questions of food and drink, or with regard to a festival or a new moon or a Sabbath
18 Let no one disqualify you, insisting on asceticism and worship of angels, going on in detail about visions, [4] puffed up without reason by his sensuous mind

How so? The same author John the Revelator also wrote this:I guess the saints in Revelation 14:12 are in big trouble then.
Amazing indeed. What does Jer 31:31, 32 say? Is it not NEW and NOT LIKE THE ONE MADE WITH YOUR FATHERS IN THE DAY THAT I TOOK THEM BY THE HAND TO BRING THEM OUT OF THE LAND OF EGYPT:no.. you missed that part of the fact that the covenant is that which is written on parchment.. which is now obsolete.. not that which is engraved on stone and now to be placed on the heart.

So what is the your purpose for being here? Why are you complaining about the lenght of time it took you to write a post? I have spent 8 hours on a single post and never complained or stated how long it took me. I also do other sites. That was the point of my questions. thank you... It took a lot of serious prayer and studying the Word of God without worldly influences to understand God's kingdom.. Then it took a lot of serious study and prayer to understand the arguments of man..
