Vitamin B Complex is excellent for that, as well as memory, metabolism, and other benefits as well.

A little explanation of the vitamin can be found at the site below:
http://www.nutrasanus.com/vitamin-b.html

Getting plenty of sun and rest can help too.

A great site with some ideas on managing fatigue and stress:

Thank you, thank you, thank you! I'm already a Vitamin B addict but will certainly check out the rest.

Marezee...how did I miss this thread of yours! Sorry!

I'm a SAHM, but I am working out of the home part time for hubby's business.

My kids just returned to school yesterday, and I was supposed to work with hubby today on his website, but he had to cancell. So I am playing on CF all afternoon LOL!

I don't usually let myself play all day like this, but I had the kids all summer, and this is the first day without kid chatter in my ears non-stop!

Tomorrow I will miss them more and probably cry.

Hi everyone!

Hi, I'm joining in!

I'm a brand new SAHM, I stopped working at the end of June and we welcomed our son Zachael 3 weeks ago. :)

I don't think I'll be going back to work outside the home anytime soon. We want 4 children and I'm considering homeschooling.

do any of you SAHM's have a regular baby sitter or nanny? or do you enlist the help of a family member to watch your children? how did you find that person and what did you look for?

We use only our parents as babysitters.... although we have a problem on that front, although my in laws are good to the kids they allow things on TV that I don't want my kids seeing.... I don't know what to do about that....

Do you SAHM's do homeschool or public school? What led you to come to the decision you came to? :)

We are homeschooling. When my son was about a year old we decided that if we couldn't afford to move by the time he was 5 that we would homeschool because the public school here is not good. Then I started reading on the subject and quickly came to realize that no matter if we had the best public school or private school this is where our children should be for their education (at home).

Help! I'm a SAHM homeschooling mum who's never at home! Just at present my youngest dd is involved in an important concert. We are workshopping & rehearsing constantly on top of her regular music schedule. I am so exhausted but my child is thriving. I wish I could boost my energy levels. Anyone got any ideas on how to do that?

How about taking calcium and magnesium supplements at bedtime? :)

where are you children right now??

My daughter is taking a nap and my son is playing with his train set on the track we just set up together.... its really long and goes from one end of the living room into the hallway and almost into the empty bedroom. We are listening to some piano music in the background

Napping! I should be napping too, but I'm not tired....

I always had that problem too, I am no good at day time napping.

I don't think I'll be going back to work outside the home anytime soon. We want 4 children and I'm considering homeschooling.

We would also like 4 children and plan to homeschool

My first born will be starting kindegarten next week! wow! i cannot believe it! I am so worried for him. will he have friends? will he like riding the bus? will he have a lunch buddy? he's so little!
My oldest started K yesterday. She was so excited. I was nervous but I didn't cry!. She wanted friends so badly and she's found a little girl in her class! YAY. This little girl is dropped off and picked up too sooo maybe I'll find the guts to make a mommy friend. Looks like this girl has younger siblings the age of mine. I need mommy friends and my little girl needs a play friend. So, if you feel like it please pray for the two of us.

After a decade (my oldest turned 10 in June), I find that being a SAHM is an ever changing flavor of parenthood.

Not only do the SAHMs I know all manage it differently (different schooling, disciplining, carreer-volunteer-school-etc, nutrition, faith, activity programming, philosophies and choices), but that I have changed my own ways of managing our family life over the decade.

Sometimes because I changed my mind, and sometimes because life changed my options.

We all feel so passionate about what we are doing, and yet we all do it different in some way. BUT because of that fact, all our different experiences are really a great gift we can offer each other.

I like this thread. When Moms share what they do, without judging each other for differences, we become resources to each other.

God's great blessings on all of you and your families tonight!

msen.com has a free dvd of education from a biblical perspective. Just go the the link "Free DVD", click on "Why Consider Homeschooling?" and then type in your email and follow the instructions from there. They will send it in the mail completely free (not even any shipping and handling). I loved the information.

We too want four kids. We are halfway there! We plan to homeschool. :)
