Good Morning!
How are all the SAHMs?
Yesterday I was asked to be on a board for on of the enrichment programs for our schools, and also asked if I wanted to get certified to volunteer as a coach at our Girl Scout Challenge Course for the summer.
Uf tah! All the time, I am getting these requests.
LOL! It occurred to me that when I someday return to work, I should hand in a resume of the requests I recieve to volunteer on committees, boards and projects...that if the world has such confidence in me as a volunteer, it should also have the same confidence in me as an employee.

It's been a beautiful week weather-wise here in upstate NY.
My DH is looking for a small pool with a filter for the boys this summer.
up until this point, a kiddie pool was all we needed.
but the boys are growing fast and we need something a bit bigger.
something i don't have to empty and clean every other day!

I only get the occasionally. I take Tylenol, sip on some green tea (caffeine, without the stomache irritation I can get from coffee), and this may sound weird, but i also nibble on crystalized ginger for the nausea.
My eyesight gets blurry then too, and I get flashers, but I haven't found a good solution for that. It sure doesn't help the situation though.
Prayers are continuing.

I was sacked out for about 45 minutes. Took my Excedrine and layed down. The headache is gone, but i feel like i got hit by a truck and need to sleep for a month!

Jake took a tumble down the stairs last evening!
My heart!
It was just 5 steps and not the whole flight, but it scared me to death!
Thank goodness he did not hit his head, and i don't
see any bruises this morning.
But last night, he kept waking up and saying, "I bumped into the wall!" and crying.
I think he was dreaming about his fall.
poor thing...I kept having to reassure him that he was ok and it was just a dream.
I'm exhausted today. and he's all playfull and full of energy! LOL!

It was a little bit of a scare.
This wasn't the first time for Jake to fall down the stairs.
I don't know what it is about him, he sometimes just looses his footing or something...plus, he's always carrying his lovey bear around with him. I think he's paying more attention to it than where he's placing his feet!

Stomach bug time at our house. We rarely get it, so I suppose we're do. Only middle daughter and I have a touch of it. No vomitting, but can't be far from a bathroom if you know what I mean.

That's not nice faithmum. My little guy was sick at school yesterday. Thankfully no-one else got it, but he threw up at school. They didn't ring me to come and get him either, so he was a bit upset because "I couldn't get clean clothes or brush my teeth"
The reason the teacher gave for not ringing me was he seemed fine afterwards, but still..... I just said in the future please ring me anyway.!!!!!!!
